overcharge is ok, they block my scooba battery.

They block my car polisher too, saying those are flammable. Borderlinx shipped for me last yr. Now they wanna charged $60 for shipping to borderlinx in US which is what borderlinx chared me for shipping back to Singapore. X)*@#X

No, vpost offer to send to another USA address at a price, forgot how much already, not cheap.

I gave them comgateway address which is just across the road from vpost oregon address.

i checked with vpost and they are able to ship irobot + additional battery as long as they are in one full package. if u just shipped 1 battery alone in that box, cannot. but well, dont know the answer from them is reliable or not.

Last time i ordered several accessories from irobot store, but they all pack in separate boxes.

so becareful when ordering battery.

This non-shipping of batteries is really ridiculous. Packed together OK, separate them and they wont ship??? Whats the logic??

but they come in the SAME box right? Shouldnt be few shipments to u right. Pay volumetric weight until hands soft

what you mean come in same box?

battery got its own box, irobot store just ship out without an external box.

so all my accessories all reach vpost in about 3 boxes

come in same box = all items in 1 shipment box and Vpost only received 1 box (including the battery inside). not ie, 3 items ordered = more than 1 box.

from their email is like if u ordered 1 irobot + 1 additional battery, as long as they reached them in 1 box, they are able to accept. if just order addittonal battery alone, cannot accept....... dont ask me the logic but their idea is DONT ship batteries.

after reading the 400 pages of the roomba,irobot home floor cleaner..

i wanna share with you what i found yesterday


i found a Straaten robovac SRV3300 at my lift lobby !!
i know there might be chances of it being spoil but i wanna give a try ..

i manage to take out the robovac battery which it is a 24 DC NI CD battery..

any experience on the Straaten robovac?

today...Roomba stopped somewhere and shows red color before going back to its homebase first time like that......sob sob.....

U can run but u can never hide... time for a new battery!!!

Just a tip for those getting a new battery for your Roomba/Scooba... dont waste money on Li-Ions. I've tried various Li-Ions... even the very high capacity ones... the extra $$$ u throw in for the very little gain in lifespan is not worth it. The original NiMh Roomba/Scooba battery is the best.
