So what is your shipping cost? Does boderlinx spit the cost into 2 separate boxes?

Borderlinx will not borther. They will not repack for you.

hi guys... i have a spoilt Roomba 4290 to give away for free... Battery is around 6 months old only cos this is a 2nd battery from www.irobot...

lazy to repair my roomba... suspected the sensor is faulty...

if you know how to repair or want to re-use the parts in the roomba, let me know...

Advisable to use roomba before scooba. Though scooba has a prep vacuum stage, it does all it's 4 cleaning stage in a single pass and as such, most of the area will be wet before the vacuum really picks it up.

i will choose scooba because mop floor is more tiring than vacuum. at least vacuum can do manually too with those HEPA filter vacuum cleaner.

I think roomba is a better investment than scooba. It is more independent as the 550 series and above can be programmed and almost leave it to do it's daily task. Just have to clean it once in a while wherelse scooba needs more attention. The way roomba cleans also looks better and faster than scooba.

Having said that, I still like the scooba. Combo useage rocks.

Finally, I have managed to stress my Roomba 560 replacement battery to confirm the duration of a full charge, by switching off the docking station around 1015pm and me hiding in air-con room..

Ohhh, at 1225am, the indicator is still in orange and not RED! Hee, my 1 year only iRobot simply returns when the docking station is ON again. Must be very tired since that's more than 120 mins! By the way, anybody ever attempt that before? Mine is is a brand new replacement battery that has been used for 3 weeks.

And I still have 3 brand new replacement batteries. If anybody interested, do PM or email me at irobotvac@gmail.com. Now can sleep well, knowing the iRobot can serve me for another year again!

Hi All,

Just got my 550 today !! New electronic thing to play.. due to my carelessness, I forget to switch the transformer to 110V... As all of you have guessed, my Power adapter went kapoo.. "pop" and went dead..Guess my capacitor have burnt, open up saw some green power on it so I presume that it burnt ?

Anyone know whether just a replacement of component will get it work again or it is gone for good and need to buy new adapter? . While reading the forum, saw someone recommend SL tower continental.. can they replace and solder the component ? Anyone can advise me..pls

P/S: I am suck in electronic component
