Scooba 5800

After cleaning for a while, the "check tank" lights up. I flush the tank, use the suction to suck the pin and the "check tank" still dont go off. To repair it will cost me $150 as mine was purchase from US. Anyone can help?

Anyboidy knows where to get cheap roomba soft bumper or can we DIY it ourself? thanks...
U can easily buy a large roll of soft adhesive white foam (2m long, 5cm wide, 3mm thick from Daiso at $2. Probably can slice into 20 strips for Roomba bumper. Can last u a lifetime. It's originally meant to pad furniture edges to protect toddlers head.:s13:

I had mine done with Juboo, he does a great work. Quite fast too.

Also wanna commend his services cause I'm a new robot user. he took the pains to go through explaining the usage of the robot as well as proper care and maintenance.
thumbs up for this bro. :)

Thanks for the review bro tekster :) Did you do the 16 hrs charge directly from the robot? It might runs better after a few charge but if it doesn't, you might need a new battery. I don't know whether iRobot replaced a new battery when they refurbished it but I think they should have though I have seen a few reviews complaining about battery's life from refurbished units.

yup, did the 16hr charge. but dunno why it kept dying. think i play too much with it. hhahaha..

anyway, now i tried resetting it and giving another 16hr charge plus 72hrs. so hope it will be ok. 1 more day before i test out again. else really the battery is bye byeliao. sigh...

If I remember correctly your battery pack is the yellow APS NiMH right? If it is the black Nicd I still can help you to revive it.
