Sorry for my ignorance but not sure what you mean..... why at most 4 repairs?

are you from autovacstore.com too?

If it is a good repair, it should last you pretty long and at most you will need the repair 4 times as there is only a set of wheels.

There's 2 wheel. Each wheel is hold by both end. It is this structure end that breaks so 2x2=4 assuming that yours break 1 at time.

I'm the first to sell neato in Singapore and I have all parts required to build the robot from scratch if you have the casing

You will not need new parts if it is working fine. Just a thorough cleanup will be sufficient. How long does the battery last for a mission? You might need a new battery to improve it's performance soon.

If you open it up, you'll know that dust bunnies accumulate internally. Compressed air is a good source to get those hard to reach area.

If you look into my website for servicing, you'll see a picture of what could have get into the gearbox assembly. You can clean those and also lubricate it with white lithium grease after that.

Robovac iRobot Store has all necessary tools and equipment to provide the service.

If you schedule it daily, just leave it on. Roomba's standby power is neglible unlike neato which tends to charge the battery 2-3 times daily and without power, neato's battery will be flat in a day rendering it unable to use.

I've been using it daily and power is always on. Some customer reported they charge and switch off but either ways, I see that they come for new battery every 1-1.5 yrs.

Any idea if irobot regardless roomba or scions will damage parquet flooring? ie wheels making scratches on the flooring.

I had many customer whom used it on parquet without any issues. I myself had parquet floor.

I can safely say iRobot Roomba 500 series & Scooba are the only robots that will not scratch parquet.
Roomba 400 series will depend on which version, older design will scratch.

As for other brands, most have fixed plastic wheel(s), ie. wheel that can only rotate in one axis. So during turning motion, the fixed wheel will scratch the floor & gradually get worn down due to scraping against the floor.

Errm, anyone knows if the 385 is supposed to come with a pump? Mine dosn't and the scooba is showing me the check tank light with uh-oh sound when start

Have u checked the contents thoroughly? I seemed to recall that all my Scoobas came with a small pump, though i'm not sure about the 385 packaging.

I only got mcdonalds straws with me, nothing to insert air.

Maybe u can improvise if u have a camera lens blower. If not, u can try getting the scooba blower from the merchant members here.
