after doing some research. the best is still lg roboking. fast and good and cheaper than irobot and navibot. not all robot are created equal

LG Roboking vs iRobot Roomba vs Samsung NAVIbot Dust Pick Up Test - YouTube

Actually the Lg Roboking 6142 ($799) cost more than the Roomba 500 Series ($500+)
Anyway most of these tests are done on the older model of the Lg Roboking (5902 is 2008 model) and not the 2012 614X models, as these are available mainly in korea.
The Lg Roboking would definitely pick up more fine dust than the rest as it comes with a Grade 11 HEPA filtration system which would trap fine dust better, but may not do as well as the Roomba when picking up larger particles like peanuts.

If Budget is a concern, the iRobot Roomba would do a decent job in cleaning your home if you do not mind its seemingly random cleaning pattern and only 1 side sweeping brush. If price is no real issue, can always consider some models which have a systemic cleaning pattern and 2 side sweeping brushes like the Lg Roboking 614X ($799) and the Iclebo Arte ($749) =)

If you would like to checkout a range of Robotic vaccum cleaners and their specifications, can visit autovacstore.com

A game changer otw? Introducing iRobot Roomba 790. Not sure if it's anything worth shouting about but iRobot sure think it is. :)

Hi,

I have a very old Roomba model 4105 which I'm looking at replacing some of the accessories to get it running again.

Here are the accessories I'm looking at :

1. Battery
2. Bristle brush
3. The front castor wheel

I have check through the websites of the local sellers but unable to determine if those parts are compatible with my Roomba.

Hence, I would appreciate if those local sellers who frequent this thread can help me out.

Here's a picture of how my Roomba look like :

Thanks !

I wanted to get from woot last year on Scooba 385.
But failed due to the website can not accept oversea credit card.
It took 1 day for them to reply email,
which means that the sale was over.
:(

I ask them whether they accept by pay-pal from overseas.
They mention can try.

Hi,

I manage to recharge my old Roomba 4105.

First few charges the Roomba run for few seconds and then
no battery but at least it moves.

But now when the battery can last longer, it refuse to move ! When I turn it on, and press CLEAN, the usual melody sounded and the motor start (can hear) but then it abruptly shutdown and both the power and CLEAN LEDs blink 3 times.

Here's a video I uploaded to show what I mean :

YouTube - Old Roomba 4105

Anyone can help advice what might be wrong ?

Thanks !
