Those who avoid the market by thinking it is just a hype will miss out on a huge run.

When u ask if it is overhyped, clearly it cannot be answered as it is. Context matters.

Is it overhyped in the sense that it is not as good as it is made to? No. It is not overhyped.

Is it overhyped in the sense that AI will take over jobs as we see how so many jobs are being replaced thanks to AI? Maybe.

- U know how it works right? Corporate folks? - U implement AI, u promise it can do 200% more in 50% of the time, and therefore what actually matters in cost savings is cutting manpower. Literally. All about bottom line.
- Not having to pay more salary reduces manpower cost. That's why they cut ppl.
- Fortune, Harvard all have reports how companies are not scaling up AI as much as the world is making it to be. 95% of companies are not actually repaying cost savings from AI.

So is it overhyped in this context? Maybe.

IIs AI gonna take over fashion, food chains, geriatrics services? Unlikely.

Isn't cost them more $$$$ if it fails (virus)
Failing is not an option, but if they do it is fine as the big techs are making obscene amount of money to cover it. I would rather they invest into capex than do share buyback at near ATH prices or pay dividends with their free cashflow.
