I work in a tech industry, just want to share my view.
In tech industry, there are no stable work, even if you do your work very well and perfect. When the project you attach to, run out of budget for whatever reason, you might either get rotated to another role or position that you might not fit, or you will will get layoff.
You are product or a resource and they only hiring you for a certain skillset, you are valuable as long as you can provide value. Unfortunately, in tech world, very fast changing, so no skillset can provide the same skillset forever. Working in tech also mean you need to compete with a few billions people daily.
Hustle if you can, earn more money, have a backup plan

The aim here is to get mor pple here. So the high pay of the top is justifiable.

No other meaning bro. Here is human is the resource due to no natural resource to depend on. Human here got job or not is nt a concern to the top.

We r jus the resource to leech on by them. Dun think too hard.

Unless you got star on your shoulder. Then you are multi talented. Can go and lead and any department without any qualifications, experience, credentials, know-how.....

sort of right. Management keeps telling employees about value add, be a leader in your own aspects..... But when time comes, you will be let go even you are a high performer in your appraisals for years.
