I have never bought anything on Tabao before.
I was just looking through. Am thinking of buying some electrical items. Is it safe to use their China plug with an adaptor?
Considering buying stuff like low sugar rice cooker, dehydrator ( this one will have to be on for many hours) hand blender etc
Safe or not?

It's for reducing carbo (sugar ).
It has an inner pot with holes to drain out excess water ( you use more water than norm) which contains starch .
I thought of buying a yoghurt maker too. But I tried out making it without a machine.. and I've been having nice Greek yoghurt these last 2 days . As good as , or better than Chobani. Our weather is good for making yoghurt .
For those interested to know how I did it: I used an old thermal pot for the fermentation. I also wrapped an old blanket around it. Fermented for 6 hours. Came out creamy . Initially was a bit sour, but after leaving it in the fridge, it was not sour the next morning
I don't know how to post photo

For those 3 pin plug, you can go any hardware shop and buy a local plug and change it yourself. No need any adapters.

Better be careful, especially elect stuff unless your home got fire insurance covered

Also consider warranty and dead on arrival case.

What is your expectation on a faulty item , on day 1 and day n.

Will you return? Will you throw?

the tabao stuffs will not have SG safety mark. In event of fire caused by the equipment, there will be issue with insurance. Especially if it is high power drawing equipment, risks are higher.

They are referring to a adaptor plug. Not asking you to swap out the head.

I'm first time buyer. It says " free shipping"
Not all items are free shipping.
Need to double triple check when checking out.
Also, there is an additional charge of X% when paying due to Alipay conversion. (Have been quite a while since using TB, used to see that%. Around 1 to 5% more. Can't remember the exact)

I have insurance. But my worry is about people, not things.
Anyway, I don't think insurance will cover if fire is caused by this
