I voted opposition the other time, cause i didnt quite like what happen that time. with the influx of FT, MRT so packed, housing so expensive.

Now that im working liao, i find without FT, alot of companies cant operate. Not enough talent to sustain company here. In a way, its kind of a necessary evil.

The real problem is the stat board.

The stat board today is not like the those rag tags when lky took over. Now the civil service is totally entrenched by miw and the pap makes very sure they got their supporters in every single department to run the country. It's the same invisible threat that the govt use to coerce the ppl into submission, just like the banks did to the fed. All by making themselves too big too entrenched to fail.

But this is what they have the ppl believe. The truth is many ppl are just in for the money and dun really mind who their paymaster is. If the stat boards change hands, the new govt will have to continue using the same guys.

The only downside to this is those same guys running the top echelons of public service are still going to be paid very handsomely like today. So dun expect millionaires to come down just becoz oppo takes over.

But at least no more white paper and sg will very likely take on a different development path.

After talking to sinkies for so many years and after witnessing the arrogance and high handedness and elitism of the white elites, if sinkies still want to vote for them, then I rather pap wins 100%...

Is time for sinkies to be sc_rewed one BIG BIG one to wake up their ideas. I want pap to win 100% and implement the following:

1) 10% and then to 20% GST
2) 8M and then to 10M population
3) Heavy petrol tax to make pump price goes up to $5/L
4) $500k CPF min sum and 85 years old withdrawal age
5) Rapid and huge increase in medical costs due to all the pioneer group and the
medishield life
6) Large increase in public transport fare to help "improve" the service
7) Banning of social media and tightening of control of all the media
8) Increase in HDB BTO prices in order to avoid raiding of reserves
9) Equal rights for foreigners as they have to attract more foreigners to reach 10M population
10) Possible persecution of oppositions since they will say 100% win for white means ppl dun want opposition and think oppositions are hindering the progress of the country
11) White elites salary to be given a huge increase as they want the ministers to have more dignity as ppl signal that since they let pap wins 100%
12) Scrap COE system and implement a system where only ppl earning more than $50k/mth can allowed to buy a car to reduce road jams due to the impending 10M population.
13) Satellite ERPs to be brought forward and ERPs will be implemented even for public transport meaning ur EZLink card will be deducted for ERP when ur bus or mrt travelled a certain distance.
14) Foreigners will be allowed to bring their children/relatives' children here without any requirement in order to boost the birth rate and their children will have equal rights with sinkie children. This is to solve the declining birth rate of sinkies.
15) Constitution is to be amended to ensure that white party will rule for the next 500 years in order that SG500 will see Singapore progress without any disruptions/freak results.

A lot of times it's a qn of what these ppl are motivated by. If it's money, u will see policies going in the direction of white paper for gdp and trains designed for profit than for public transport.

so, in your opinion, do you think we should change that by voting more opposition into the parliment?
But currently, i look at the opposition all are not inline with one another, then the direction like not here not there.
