I don't agree. Cases like the Dan A4 and Louqe S1 have the GPU fan really close to the grills where they can draw fresh air in. This is the same for the CPU heatsink.

So long as you choose a blower design for the card and a top mounted fan heatsink for the CPU, it will be fine. But trying to use those 2 or 3 fan card designs will obviously throw hot air all around the tiny.

Also as you mentioned, with liquid cooling, you can really shrink the dimensions of the case while transferring the heat elsewhere. No need to use a huge tower style air cooler.

what would you recommend if you're going for APU , no GPU.. but I also don't want to spend a bomb on a epic small casing

Just diy one pc using nr200p. Really small compared to my previous tower. Used m2 and put my old 3.5 in. Heat is a problem for me so had to use aio cooler.

If you come from a tower case, you will find it small. But the NR200 is one of the more spacious ITX case at 18.2L. If you tried building something like a Dan A4 or Ghost S1 around 7.5~8L, those are quite a challenge if you try to fit a small 92mm AIO in there. :(

Anyone knows where to buy Phanteks Evolv shift X or will there be a better one coming up? I heard from Corbell Singapore that Phanteks Evolv shift X stopped production.
