Anyone tried Uni Murakami in Hakodate?

Is it possible for 4 pax to share 1 bowl to try it?

Is it that different compared to the morning markets?

Uni has always been too fishy for my family but wanted to try to see if there is a difference when super fresh

It is a restaurant by itself, so might be abit awkward if 4 pax went in and order only 1 bowl? The menu is outside the shop perhaps see if there is any other food that your family members do eat before going in.

I didn't went in because my partner doesn't eat any raw stuff, don't want to repeat history like Tsujiki market where everybody got to order a main dish and i end up having to eat her share while she only eat the white rice and take photo of the food ><

i think it is fine if everyone order a main to share but not 4 pax sharing a single bowl. it is also impolite to occupy 4 seats when there is only 1 single order.

No, cannot do that.
Each one order one bowl otherwise you will get chase out of restaurant

Its quite impossible in Japan to do this, especially in restaurants. Even at Gram Pancakes it was a must to order one plate per person.

Maybe if you order food that is meant for sharing ie Platters etc. should be ok lah.

Since we're still stuck here in SG, went to check out this affordable tendon chain from Japan which open last month at OC, quite delicious but it needs the sauce after a while to add some taste beyond texture.

Long wait times though, their current queues system is very messy.. many patrons just join queue without adding to name list then realize they are not even in line.

I want to try to list Japanese food that i like, but hard to find similar taste in Singapore..
Please add more to the list, so i can try them on my next trip to Japan also...

1. Hokkaido Soup Curry
Something that i never miss everytime i go to Japan (even when i'm not going hokkaido), we used to have some of soup curry franchise in Singapore, but all can't survive, don't know why. I always thought the taste is very suitable with our south east asian palate. Some of famous place: Rojiura Curry Samurai, Sama Curry (used to be in SG) - They have branch in Tokyo / Osaka

2. Miso Katsu (Tonkatsu with miso sauce)
Mostly found in Nagoya area, one of the famous one is Yabaton

3. Miyazaki Charcoal Grilled Chicken
very strong smoky flavour, can't really find similar taste here >_<, usually can be found at Miyazaki (obviously, but you can find in Tokyo / Osaka, the place that i tried before is called Kuruma)

4. Shirasu-don / Whitebait rice
i think there are some sushi place here that sell whitebait sushi, but hard to find.
you can find a lot of them in Kamakura / Enoshima area.

5. Champon
if you feel guilty after few days of heavy food and want something lighter and less sinful
Keisuke opened one in International plaza, but close within half a year i think...
the franchise that you can find in a lot of places called Ringer Hut

6. Nagashi Somen
I always enjoy this on summer trip, i think some izakaya in Singapore have the cold somen..
