a mixture of ramen i tried in tokyo during march 2023 and december 2023

Yes udon shin. Thats the one I ate with the raw egg in the middle.

Go to Fu-unji, better.

Silky udon, tender beef, rich egg yolk, ready to be mixed into creamy perfection. A spoon of chili paste brings that extra kick! Worth the 2-hour wait in the queue 🥲

I didn't have chance to try the nearby Fu-unji ramen this time round.

Don't know if it's been changed but udon shin queuing procedure wasn't great back in 2024. Have to go early to take a ticket. Return later 30 minutes again. The subsequent queue wasn't in order of ticket number. So had to queue from the back. So overall over 2 hours+. Not fun in the cold and rain.
