Yes udon shin. Thats the one I ate with the raw egg in the middle.

Go to Fu-unji, better.

Silky udon, tender beef, rich egg yolk, ready to be mixed into creamy perfection. A spoon of chili paste brings that extra kick! Worth the 2-hour wait in the queue 🥲

I didn't have chance to try the nearby Fu-unji ramen this time round.

Don't know if it's been changed but udon shin queuing procedure wasn't great back in 2024. Have to go early to take a ticket. Return later 30 minutes again. The subsequent queue wasn't in order of ticket number. So had to queue from the back. So overall over 2 hours+. Not fun in the cold and rain.

Can try Kagari, chicken ramen. Cashless, can use IC card to pay. Not necessary to go main store, think there’s a few branches.

Disclaimer: taste is subjective, broth is very very rich. Ate this 10yrs ago, so I’m not sure how it is now.

Okay, I go Ginza Kagari Honten in Ginza and try 😝
Can just look for tori paitan ramen if you can only take chicken noodles.

Afuri Ramen is another one. They used to be in SG. Clear broth with chicken oil. Can choose chicken chasiu. Used to go to the one at Roppongi (after my visits to Roppongi Hills Mori Tower for exhibitions). There’s a lot of branches. Again, my last visit was before the pandemic.

Yakitori joints. Chain stores like Torikizoku or Yakitori no Meimon Akiyoshi, if you do not understand Japanese menus.
