Okay i will just add ameyoko to day 2. hopefully i can finish Ueno by noon time. coz i want to visit Sensoji Temple. Time during holiday passes very fast, so i am afraid dont have time to complete Ueno and Asakusa :)

sensoji temple wouldn't take very long.
u can spend 3/4 of the day at ueno, then go asakusa maybe around 3pm and visit sensoji temple. then visit skytree in the evening/night

You can try day trips after covering Tokyo city.

Easy access surrounding are:

Yokohama
MtFuji
Hakone
Enoshima/Kamakura
karuizawa
Nikko
etc etc

Thanks for suggesting, looking at ur suggestion I believe those area are more for sightseeing. we would prefer 80% shopping and 20% sightseeing, I would add mtfuji into the itinerary.

Is there any places nearby places from tokyo that I could enjoy snow for 1 day as well.

Shopping could be all take care within Tokyo. If you like Outlets shopping, There are quite a few. Namely the Premium Outlets chain and the Mitsui chain.
The Gotemba Outlet is famous for its location where Mt Fuji is visible. Yokohama has a nice Marina outlets, Karuizawa has a Prince outlets where the skiing slopes are nearby. etc.

Hello to all :)

I will be travelling to Japan next month on the 20th till 31st.

Need some advises from the experts & experience travelers here.

Now still in the beginning stage of itinerary planning, rough planned are,

Day 1 - Arrive Osaka at night -> Supper around Shinsaibashi area

Day 2 - USJ

Day 3 - AM -> Kobe, ropeway to mt rokko, sight-seeing and relax -> lunch at Kobe. PM -> Osaka for foods and shoppings

*Tokyo itinerary still not well planned yet, as in the route from each place to another.

Day 4 - Shinkansen to Tokyo, check in Tokyo hotel, shopping around hotel area, Shinjuku

Day 5 - Disney Land

Day 6 - Tsukiji Market, Ginza.. then follow by other attractions nearby/on the way (if any) or shopping

Day 7 - Sight-seeing day, Tokyo tower, rainbow bridge, temple visiting (probably just one).....

Day 8 & 9 - Mt Fuji.
Q: Will be staying at Fuji-Q highland hotel, from here, is it easy to go Gotemba premium outlet and Lake Kawaguchi?

Day 10 - Disney Sea

Day 11 - Shopping day, Harajuku, Shinjuku, Shibuya..
Q: is one day enough to cover all the above?

Day 12 - Depart to airport after check out from hotel

Some questions:
1. Shall I buy a sim-card with data or those wi-fi devices at the airport upon arrival? which is more convenience? as in, wi-fi devices need to be return upon departure. I must have data as I need GPS to navigate around.

2. For souvenirs items, tokyo banana, kit kat etc... is it better to buy at Tokyo or Haneda airport? in terms of the variety and price?

3. From Osaka to Tokyo by Shinkansen, is it necessary to book the tickets in advance?

I think that's about it.. haha.. find this trip way to short to cover many places :(

Thanks for all in advance.

Your day 7 can just visit Zojoji, its next to Tokyo Tower. You flew in KIX and out Tokyo? If that the case, you can buy the shinkeasen tix once you reach Osaka. Get the Puratto Kodama
Cheap Shinkansen Tickets between Osaka and Tokyo

based on my itinerary, which part of Tokyo would be more convenience for me, would prefer a less exp accommodation less den SGD 100 for 2 person, decent place with wifi and within walking distance to the nearest station.

This one near Ikebukuro
Sakura Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo, Japan: Agoda.com one of the main transport hub for Tokyo

This one near Ueno, another main transport hub of tokyo
Tokyo Ueno New Izu Hotel Tokyo, Japan: Agoda.com
Cheaper and faster transfer between Narita.

Thank for the fast response, appreciate it. I will use urs as a reference, while keeping a look out for others.
Another way is just make use of the map that open up in Agoda(and any other hotel sites), click and research on those hotels/hostels icons that meets your location need. It can be easier than using their default sorting list.

if you taking the limo bus, do see is there an offer for to and return. It tends to be cheaper and convenience for you as most of the time returning always have heavier and more luggages
