meaning to say that if u managed to find a flight timing which is within jetstar price beat policy, you call jetstar and notify them.
then u book via jetstar website ? not on the phone itself?
then if u book via jetstar website, how to get rid of the cc payment?
is there a link to the special booking ?

care to share your price beat experience?

calkel20 is right.. its via webchat with a customer service executive.

You need to tell them which flight u want to book, and which airlines u price beat against.
Must be same day, timing must be within 1hr of jetstar's flight.

once he/she confirmed you meet the price beat requirement, he will prompt and the webchat will pop out a secure page for you to key in your CC and CC information. Once completed, they will tell your flight is confirmed and end your chat.

you can login jetstar to see the itinerary almost immediately.

Just an update, Jetstar now charge $3 for payment via axs and post office. Still better than Air Asia.

airasia can use enets for payment. think no extra charges.

for jetstar, they started having their 3sgd admin charges 2 mths back already.
their checked in luggage prices also increased by alot ...

bkk 25kg @ 22sgd, now becomes 25sgd
if you add on luggage price after payment made:
bkk 25kg @ 29sgd, now becomes 38sgd ...

tats very expensive ...

Tradeoff is their timing is incredibly good for weekend trips. Just booked a carry on only trip with them for 20% less than the rest with friday morning flight and evening sunday return flight. Save one day of leave.

yup, airasia promo normally can sunday afternoon fly back which is good.
jetstar hardly have such promo ...
the last time jetstar have fri to sun back promo fare 91sgd is about few months ago ...

Would still choose jetstar ... cox cheaper price ...
prefer jetstar more compared to airasia ...

Note all airline insurance is flight insurance only.
Anything after leaving airport is your own call, why bother to buy?

the coverage by jetstar insurance covered by AIG is not as much as if you were to buy other policies. hence the cheaper price ...

normally would buy dbs travellershield.
the trip would cover you during your trip.
when you come back from ur trip, within 5 days you still can see doctor,
if you are sick from the trip .
you might wanna check with your own insurance to find out the t and c ...

have seen ppl hand carry over 7kg.
they were told to pay 60sgd for checked in 15kg luggage ...

Not sure if it's applicable for SIN-BKK-SIN.

Depends on destination. For my routes, most full fledge airlines are $80+ or more and cheaper ones are multi city flights. Nearest full fledge airline thats closest to budget air pricing and direct flight would be Malaysian Airlines at around $50 more usually.

You must make payment within 48hours
note your booking number as you need them to fill up the form.

only cash or nets are accepted at singpost or SAM machine.

You must choose a 3K flight in order to use offline payment mode. If it's a BL flight (under Jetstar Pacific), you have to pay online and incur the credit card fee.
