Considering selling at almost brand new for highend earphones, you'll definitely have less buyer audience.
Make sense? :)

Hope everyone who ordered the Roxanne will be happy with their purchase, afterall it's JH's new flagship and probably the custom will have better driver placement, acoustic tube placement and routing and lastly better fit.

It does seem like the Roxanne may be picky about gear selection and synergy, since using different DAP and amplifiers have noticeable effects on the Roxanne. Like one of the bros here mentioned, the Roxanne seem to sound the best when paired to an AK120.

Anyways do take opinions with a pinch of salt until you hear the IEM yourself. Somehow opinions by others and reality seem to be really different and in the end the best way to know how an audio equipment will sound is by listening to them yourself.

Hope everyone will have a good festive season with their new toys. Waiting for my new toy too.

then maybe im wrong. i always find it hard to sell things on forums over 500$.
anyway i din say it wont have buyers, just harder to sell.
if the iem proves to be a hit then its a different story.

Due to freqphase, JH 13/16/Roxanne is very hard to sell...

Nobody dare take risk...

I find 335 mid is way too rescess till lost the warm and weightness. I compare to my jh16 pro fp. I do ask about why is it like this the guy who station there told me it might be because of universal and claim the custom version do not have this problem. So the guy who station there did agree with my finding.

I suggest you all don't read too much into my impression, just what I heard. If got doubt just go and audit side by side and judge for your own.

If I am there I will question this statment - "it might be because of universal and claim the custom version do not have this problem"

What is custom ? - make a mould out according to the owner ears to get a acoustic sealing. Is one to one

What is universal ? - Fit anyone BUT the size of the ear tips is the main criteria that do the acoustic sealing. Need to change the ear tip inorder to suit another user.
As you have know there are 3 sizes - small, mediuam and large.

Thnaks and regards

Out of curiousity did you try Fitear? All the fanboys been trying hard to splash blood at Roxanne with funny reviews and you still wanna get Roxanne?

If you are not in a hurry I'd suggest you just wait till ppl start receiving their Roxanne's and give proper impressions esp by reknown reviewers on headfi.

Hey yes i did try the TG334 at the Mook festival the bass was rather controlled and when i tried the JHpro16 i fell in love with the bass then after i tried the Roxanne and i was blown away, for me i prefer a wilder bass something that get me excited rather then a controlled one. And personally i felt that the Shure 846 was very alike to the TG334 so if i were go to for a universal set and a cheaper option i would go for the Shure 846 get the UE900 for free and sell it off to get a further discount on the $1299 price tag. Well this is just my opinion i am new to this Hi end IEM scene and might not have more exposure then you guys out there. So just my 2 cents.

Oh yes i heard from the Jap woman at Fitears when i was trying the TG334 that the TG334 in Japan has currently stop production due to the High demand, Dunno if i heard wrongly tho.

IMO, the sound signature of SE846 and TG! 334 is similar, in that bass is slightly boosted, with forward mids and more laid-back highs. However, as I spent more time with both IEMs, I noticed more bass punch in the SE846 and a more enveloping soundstage while the TG! 334 has better bass timbre and layering, with a tall soundstage, which adds to the wider sensation, with a bit more clarity and transparency.

The extra paid for the TG! 334 is really for its excellent built quality (read about some QC issues on the SE846) and limited availability, at this price level, the additional you pay for each improvement is really more than what you actually get, thus the law of diminishing marginal returns.

Just my two cents. :)

I told Jerry that the silver cable on his prototype Roxanne CF really matches the CF looks and the titanium flying lady....
Any butties here who pre-ordered the Roxy opted for the silver cable instead of the black cable just for the sleeker look?
He confirmed with me that the cable material is the same for the silver and black, only the sheating/cover is different.

Does the silver cable feel as flexible as the black one?
I find the black surprisingly flexible given its thickness and braiding.
It even more malleable than my silv dragon iem.

If it's a silver cable, then it's shouldn't matter unless it's copper. Then black with be better through time.
