How do actually know is it made by him? Do you have two 8.A, made by wizard and by the common labor there to compare side by side? They could just place a faceplate with the wizard trademark and say It's made by him lol.

My knowledge towards heir audio is not that much. But back then when Wizard was still in Heir Audio, does he make/tune every customs himself?

I thought Wizard was only incharge of faceplate designs etc.? I find it hard to believe he tunes every CIEM himself. That'd be like claiming Jerry tunes all JH CIEMs.

I also don't believe he made all the ciems..

I think it's impossible.. Maybe those that opt for wizard design will have their ciem done by him.. Or maybe just the design only. Not the entire ciem..

My custom when done, was being inspected and done by him. This one i know cos i did email him tt time. And he told me mine was being completed by him and the others and after tt the completed custom was being sent. Even if is not by him, is by his left right hand man ma. He design and inspect ma. Even thou he was arrogant type,
I gotta respect him for his passion and workaholic style. Email me 4am saying juz came back from lab and juz reply email type. Many times he reply in the 1-4am period

Yeah. I don't really think back then when Wizard and his left/right hand man was still in Heir Audio. There is only 3 people making all the custom orders.

You guys make the 8.A made/inspected by Wizard and his team so much superior. Whereas the 8.A made by the labor there currently sound like trash.

If I buy a JH16 today. 5 years later If I were to get a new identical one from JHA. It will definitely sound the same unless they announce an upgrade like the Freqphase.

There are standards in making custom in-ear monitors. Just like before Jerry Harvey left Ultimate Ears, he designed the UE10 & UE11. I have no doubt they still sound the same.
