Yep and the word "Roxanne" seems to be defaulted on the faceplate. But when I ordered at jaben they said that "Roxanne" was not available and I chose the default " jh audio".

Think you saw wrongly. They mentioned that its the default font for the words Roxanne. Not default for the faceplate. When you choose the options for the faceplate you have to specify if you want with words or not. I assume yours will come with JH Audio instead of Roxanne.

Ya it does look a little rushed. I think the one without flying girl is a different set. Meaning he chose without the logo but just wanted the words JH audio.

I raised this issue a couple of months back, but tio shoot down by several bros.
Not to gloat, but I honestly prefer the more traditional connector.

we also duno how they abuse it. wonder is production issue or user issue.
probably wait for more user feedback will be better

When I tried at ak booth during mook, the trial universal Roxanne was not working on one side, connection was lose.

The broken connector part is shown in headfi.

Some flame war starting....

Whatever it is, I'm very careful with my ciem usage anyway so no worries...

Was disappointed that the connector was made of plastic... Expected it to be more sturdy...

connector broken? please... it's the screw cap that links the custom to the cable. the 4-pin connectors work fine. And this is like what ... the 2nd case reported? One Jaben set and one customer set. Versus the hundreds of broken pins, bent pins, chipped pins, etc of the current cables reported in like the last few years?

For the concerned, don't be. It's hardware.
They fail every once in a while just like anything else man-made.
If it does happen, get a replacement part or whole depending on your needs.

For the cheap shots, wait till the after market cables are out.
Lets see what they have to say when they need to peddle them later.

Aiya... Nothing to be angry la.. BTW screw on design is safer in the sense that the ciem won't fall off if u hang them around your neck(I don't hang around neck)...

Though that won't stop the cheap shots coming even if they know it is cheap.
