Strange. The only way it could hurt the ear is that the shell was made too big as a whole or in certain areas.
I don't see why that can happen when they are making it based on your molds.
Unless the mold expanded somehow?

Shell should be enlarged too much, but I do see Roxanne being thicker from shell to faceplate in order to fit in those quad drivers...

The sound of the Roxanne are getting better over the days. I am leaving them to burn every night when I sleep so around 40 hours over 5 days. The mids are coming thru as compared to when I 1st had them.

actually if you have clear/translucent shells of roxanne
you will see that the BA on the left and right ears are not asymetrical.
What I mean is the placement of the BAs are not mirror image of each other.
This is not the case of what I saw in the K10 which were ciem too.

For the price it cost, the workmanship of the roxanne are not exactly what I was hoping for.

1) Bubbles in shell
2) small ding in shell just like those on the CF box
3) the fit on my left which is obviously horrible, the "protruded" portion leaves the painful area red.

btw Noble has new iem that allows on the go switching from FR and PR.
Both the “full-range reference” Noble FR and “pure reference” Noble PR feature a discrete switch on the left and right faceplates. Interesting times for IEMs.

Yup kinda agree that for that price the workmanship should have been better. But i already knew JH ciems are not known to be pretty so kinda expected when i saw some tiny bubbles and dings. Main concern for me is the sound. For pretty ciems nobody comes close to the Wizard.

Guys the ap100 is quite impressive for its price point.
Maybe ard 1/10 of ak240 price.
Build is quite ok.
As for sq test it for yourself but bear in mind the price.
Would be a challenger for x5.

The src function was a bit slow.
The user defined eq range in limited.

its the universal 334 that I tried so not a proper seal. but it closer to the Roxanne than the 435.
I think some others have mentioned before, the 435 demo at Jaben is weird. sounds not like a Fitear product.

Tried the LCD 3, LCD X, LCD 2, HD 800. :):):):)

what do u think of 334 vs rox? stil lookinh around for a gd synergy dap dac with rox.
