it's the slim versino of this P-Series - Comply with the top cut off. you only put on a little bit, not all the way, and then push everything deep into your ear.
sounds night and day better than my other tips. really amazing how much better it sounds this way.
looking at pic i just noticed that my ear canal seems to have bent the tip a little to better align. interesting. i think this might sound good because it provides very deep isolation without using a lot of foam. i dont know just guessing.
Hmm.. If you say the improvement are more on the bass, the bass is good to me, punchy and comparable to LCD-X / XC. Better than LCD-2 for my impression. But it's too bassy for me, after changed the cable ok now I like the bass and sound stage also wider. Rox is still superb if listen to rock but What I'm looking for is the high which a little dark for me especially for vocal. All the above is IMO, my ear is not trained.
did anyone listen to those songs with roxanne like i instructued? listen to teacher and do you're homework

seemed ok. the guitar sounds good on roxanne.
Maybe it's the mid that veiled.
link?
i'll try them but i don't predict they'll sound better than the one i crafted (pic earlier) after trying like a dozen tips. it sounds amazing. maybe better than custom i dont know i dont own custom mode.
Clarity on Roxanne will take some time to shine through.
Adjusting the bass knobs all the way down, will help if it sounds "veiled".
From my still short time with her (been away for refit), the sound isn't exactly what I would call veiled, but more "full". that there is more air, content and sight warmth in the space and notes. There's really a lot going on in the presented sound by the Roxanne and very different from other flagship iems/customs.
We're so used to how a flagship iem sounds like they become a "reference" of sort, and I can understand this part seeing the debate on whether the Noble K10 or Roxanne is the better one on headfi.
The way I see it, the Noble K10 continues to push the path of the familiar, in what we know today as the "reference" iem/custom sound. While the Roxanne is a new iem/custom, forging a different path, to make the iem/custom more Headphone-like in sound. It's a new "preference" I would say. more so than which is better.
Is your impression of the K10 based on the demo unit?
Yup. Tried the demo at treoo.
While it was very good in many aspects, the bass presentation came across as slow, a little slight distortion. There's a dip in the lower region of the bass that took me off really. Other than that, the rest of the frequencies are decent, but doesn't really get me going.
However, personally, I'd still prefer my JH13 (non freqphase) over the K10.
Similar stand in my audition of the JH13FP.
And surprisingly, the UM Mentor gets my vote over K10 as well.
No fate with noble I guess.
Well, it's a demo unit, like how much difference the Roxanne Universal when used with tips that are not so optimised for use with it and a custom Roxanne, the custom unit and demo unit of Kaiser 10 sound very very different.
The JH13 is really good though.
Ihave a fair idea of what to get if I'm ever getting another custom.
Lol..
