Must take bus to mrt

Tpy mrt - 139 or at the bus stop along pie
Novena mrt - 21/131
Newton mrt - 124

But what I dislike is you even have to walk to the bus stop which has no sheltered walkway too

This location is good for people who drive

I like running there. The tunnel leads to Narnia.

That corner will be a forsaken place. No future value either.

:s13::s13: I grew up in that area long long ago. All the old flats gone except may be 20 and 21.

I have to agree that's quite a forgotten spot.

Frankly, I wouldn't mind if it's a forgotten quiet spot but it's a forgotten VERY NOISY (I can take main road noise but not constant highway) spot :s8:.

However, in my review posted some time back, the discount ratio that HDB provided is pretty sufficient for that location and I kind of like the bus stop to Toa Payoh.

Many years ago, got rumors that st micheal terminal will be shifted to the grass patch infront of Jalan bahagia

But so far no story, if this terminal shifted there, it will be good for this project

Once upon a time, there was a tree at the corner near the tunnel. The tree had many aerial roots. There was also an altar nearby. The whole area felt eerie each time I jogged by.

Don't remember there was alter. But that tunnel area was a road (one way) from St Michael's Rd into Jln Tenteram. Used to walked that road to Church of St Michael. Left and right were bungalows.

Peace and quiet with a tinge of kampong spirit that is slowly diminishing.

What kumpong spirit was there that is finishing and what the reason?

No more GIANT and coffee shop leading to stress?
