Still a bit pain after 28hrs (medication shd wear off from 22-24th hr), but definitely significantly better than yesterday before the first round of NSAID. Now hooting another round of arcoxia, and tonight need to sleep another round of 8.5hrs min (ie early dinner plus good sleep hygiene from 8pm so that i can feel sleepy by 9pm). Heng only drank coffee at 10am and no afternoon coffee at 2-3pm

Think tomorrow probably need 1 more round, and then sleep....... hopefully have minimal pain on Sunday afternoon/night.

The arcoxia damn power. Zero pain zero discomfort.

Now preparing to go sleep for optimal recovery of the wrist injury.

Nice weather, tomorrow 6am wake up go cycling.

Another AI trainer, that has Kipchoge's imprint.

I Tested Eliud Kipchoge’s AI Coaching App, Kotcha. These 3 Features Make It Worth Trying.

Although the app isn’t perfect (yet), having the GOAT in my back pocket was pretty darn cool.

Have you ever wanted to train like the greatest marathoner of all time? Well, now you can… sort of.

Developers worked alongside two-time Olympic gold medal marathoner Eliud Kipchoge—the first (and so far, only) human to run 26.2 in under two hours—and his NN Running Team to create Kotcha, the newest AI-powered run coaching app, designed to bring world-class support to every runner.

“Running is a team sport,” Kipchoge said in a press release about the app. “Without my coaches and teammates, I would never have pushed human limits. With Kotcha, we wanted to share not just the training structure, but the full support system that made it possible.”

I tested Kotcha for the better part of a month and discovered three unique tidbits that set it apart from other AI coaching apps. Here’s everything you need to know.

@Kuudere As expected I did not get Berlin marathon haha. 3 tries tokyo, 1 try nyc, 1 try Berlin all no luck so far
Berlin like a lot of Sgrean go. Maybe next year, not your luck for this year.
In a way, I am glad Singapore Marathon didn't get the abbot WMM for this reason. We still can race as long as we register by closing date. Just look at Sydney, immediately requires ballot once they become a WMM, even locals have to ballot.

Yeah got risks one. Best not to take over 3 days in a stretch if can help it. Usually is 5 days.
Max days for serious cases and after weighing risks/benefits is 2 weeks.
Then those with stomach and colon issues and diseases all cannot take.

But if can take NSAIDs, is really shiok. Arcoxia is even better and more effective than Tramadol for such things like PF, AT, tendon or fascia pain/inflammation. But let the inflammation go on for a day or 2 first, as it kick starts healing, the NSAIDs would then "reset" the inflammation or at least make it more bearable while healing.

Dr Idz is one of the few youtubers who knows how to read studies and present it laymen.

Increasingly, ever since Peter Attia said VO2max is the strongest predictor of longevity, the voice is getting louder on the net, that cardio respiratory health is no.1 predictor for health and longevity. Goes against those who keep telling us health is 80% diet and 20% exercise. Shockingly the studies he cited that compare those on dieting alone without exercise, do not have reduction in their risk for all cause mortality. Dieting will work when coupled with exercise to produce the best outcome.

just tried the LINING 飞电6 Elite at 上海体博会Shanghai Sports & Fitness Exhibition that held in conjunction with the 2025 Shanghai Marathon which will be this Sunday.
Super soft yet bouncy and responsive midsole.
BMAI supershoe is so damn light.
Many shoes to try, unfortunately some are only available to marathon participants. eg. Salomon Phantasm 3. Many running gears, supplements to get as well.
Super poisonous place 😂

today's weather is very good
before the race (around 5am) was really cold at mid single digit
start of race high single digit and slowly raise to low 10s, with gentle breeze. only down side is there is a slight pollution in the air.
the first half of the race is flat throughout, from around 27km onwards there are a few bridges to cross but not super steep. Am actually quite surprise the course record for men was not broken. By 30km mark, they were already off the pace.
One popular male influencer 大正 did manage to get a PR and ran all the way with the Women's champion, Brigid Kosgei, who broke the course record at 2:16:33 (previous record 2:20:37) .
As Shanghai is under review to be the next Abbott World Marathon Majors venue in 2027 (after Sydney this year), this year is the first time some of the participants will have to undergo urine tests after the race.
