i just saw the prices and it's much more expensive than the other marathons.
glad that i signed for the GARMIN one instead.

oh by the way, i also bought the same yellow qiaodan singlet as you.
it's not bad but my only problem is that the front will ride up onto my neck. i had to constantly pull it down.
I think those Stan Chart organized marathons seem to be more well organized.

I won’t be doing SCSM this year, but I will be doing Stan Chart Hanoi in November and the price is nearly identical to Singapore one.

on a side note, i don't think i can hit my sub 2hrs half marathon by Oct for the Garmin race.
i think the downside of TAO is that it doesn't tell you if the race goal is attainable or not.
i think my weekly mileage is far too low (25-30km per week).

3 minutes pace 😱

I like to do intervals between 2.55 to 3.30 for various distances, but i super anyhow one, no structure and no sci/training basis.....it's too fast probably.
I also do SIT / Sprint Interval Training 60 to 75 metres, but lately also not much. And also strides which are at slightly lower intensity and more gentle accelerations.

See the video above, that girl quite fast. 3K time nearly 9 mins flat and she is not full pro (she make up artiste and hairdresser), suspect she knows she is fast and so can get a bit of prize money / recognition for her hobby.
And of coz can run her youtube channel, maybe can slowly make it big.

Isn't it too hot below ?
No underwear if u wear tights with shorts

For me cycling shorts also similar stuff, just additionally with bottom gel padding. Actua;y same materials, just maybe different mix of materials and the smoothness of the threads/fabric etc.....nothing much.

It does feel a bit warm if there is not much sweat and the material is not wet, as there is no air space in between.
Coz it is engineered for exercise purposes.

I do wear underwear tho.......coz no real abrasion risk.
For cycling my aim is more for aerodynamics.
My rides do not exceed 60km, so no issue in terms of abrasion and i think my biomechanics low risk of that coz even normal polyester shorts + underwear no issue.
