jia you.... honestly not that difficult i feel and it's very achievable?that is my long term target as well. I thought i will be closer to this pace when i reached 55-56min for 10km last Nov and was consistently running below 60min before the heat arrives. Now I can hardly hit within 60min for 10km![]()
Is Google earth measurement accurate?
Just now went for a short stroll in the park, and I measured the distance as 5.7km.
However my watch shows 5.09km without GPS.
Hyrox don't even need to run that long. loljia you.... honestly not that difficult i feel and it's very achievable?
my ultimate aim is to run 10km below 40mins and then can start competing in events like hyrox without losing face haha
if i am younger, probably so. Living on this earth half a century and been living sedentary lifestyle for more than half my time on earth, don't think it's very achievable, at least for now. I will be very happy if i can reach 45min for 10km. Now got to slowly change running plans, eg. more intervals, more cardio and more strength training without sacrificing mileage.jia you.... honestly not that difficult i feel and it's very achievable?

You have to lose face to improve though. That can only be done by racing a lot.jia you.... honestly not that difficult i feel and it's very achievable?

The 10km fitness definitely translates the endurance over for crossfit. I can do all this in 26 mins.Hyrox don't even need to run that long. lol
8km + the exercises, around 10+km bahHyrox don't even need to run that long. lol
Try find a route like ECP or Bedok Park. Multiple fitness corners along the way.8km + the exercises, around 10+km bah
I want to do men's open and get top 3, need to train for years though haha

Doing training that isn't really specific is always nice. The 26 minute thing I do, I am not trying to complete all those workouts quickly. It's just a by-product of my endurance, to just keep persevering.Try find a route like ECP or Bedok Park. Multiple fitness corners along the way.
Run and hit every fitness corner along the way. Pulls, dips, hanging leg raises. Try variations for increased difficulty.
Last time when I did 15~21km, could hit up to 8 fitness corners. Damn shagged but good training.
Don't know why put myself through that. Not training for events like Spartan also. Abit siao siao.![]()
Jia you! I think definitely need to do a lot of cross training besides just running. Maybe do circuits like @Kuudere on top of the runs8km + the exercises, around 10+km bah

How does your watch measure distances without GPS? Counting steps then assuming stride length is 1m? If base on stride length X steps, it will be very inaccurate. Is Google earth measurement accurate?
