not sure about Serangoon. Only know home of athletics (Kallang practice track) closed from 1 Oct 2024 to 31 Jan 2025.Is serangoon Stadium closed for renovation? I saw quite a few of people sitting in the stands but the tracks are totally empty? Or maybe there's some sort of event going on.
Family time is always good!yes back for a week, catching up with family, bringing old folks for medical appointment, chill and relax at hotel, sentosa, enjoy sea breeze while savoring chilli crab yesterday evening at east coast seafood centre. going to KL now.
Hardly buy shoes in store. Few weeks ago bought novablast 4 on discount at royal sporting house at Tanglin mall.can i check if anyone know if buying running shoes will be cheaper than in SG?where to shop?
yah, as i age, less keen to go around exploring, prefer to stay by family or chill at one place without running aroundFamily time is always good

Thanks guys! Might be just an error on my part. Maybe the red light was on and i didn't notice it being on.Check if the red light is on. Usually when there's lightning warning, the red light will be on and the stadium admin guy will chase anyone off the track.
The warning light is not very obvious at the Serangoon Stadium. From the spectator stand facing forward, have to turn your head at about 90 degree to the left. Thanks guys! Might be just an error on my part. Maybe the red light was on and i didn't notice it being on.
Then again Serangoon has some nice areas to run on but the problem is the amount of traffic here is quite a lot compared to the west i feel. Just my opinion.![]()
Thanks, first time buy from iHerb. Got the California Gold Creatine. Very cheap for 454g, just under $20, not inclusive shipping which was around $2 ++.BTW iherb having 28% sitewide. Hoot your creatine, whey, Mg, Ca, D3 and stuff.
Whey many already OOS tho, trying this Allmax brand.
The amino acid profile declared is legit, you add up all the mg and the values do add up.
Not much amino spiking (if any at all)

Unless join the running lab as member and you're entitled to 10% discount for retail items and 20% discount if it's your month of birthday.
Tested the Magic Speed 3 and 4 yesterday at Running Lab. Didn't have the time to test the New Balance one but took a photo of it.
Magic Speed 4 feels like an upgrade of my current shoe which I am already setting PBs with. Might get that one, but not cheap ($249). Magic Speed 3 ($179) have a lot less cushioning, reviewers say that this is a faster 5-10k shoe, whereas the magic speed 4 is more suited for HM and above, long runs.
I see, do I need to be a member at iRun or Running Lab to get a cheaper price?Yes, the magic speed 4 is good.
If you don't mind the colour, you can get it 10% cheaper in iRun.
The Elite 3 I would said is good for PB as I feel it's more bouncing and it's pushed you forward. I think the 3 is more aggressive than the 4 which I had.
If really wanted to go all out for speed, the paris edge is super but I don't feel stable when running on it.
The Brooks Elite 3 is also good for racing.

I haven't tested Elite 3 yet, but it's slightly more expensive than Magic Speed 4. Will be good to give it a try next time I go to the stores.
Paris/edge out of my budget. And also, stability is important for me. No point get my legs injured and can't train.
Haven't seen Brooks in the stores yet, so didn't get the chance to try.
I have wide feet, got to see if my feet can fit. So far, Magic Speed 4 size 10 is the ideal fit for me.
Ya, had that problem with my first bottle of Creatine towards the end. Subsequent bottles goes into the fridge once they are opened. LOL. That's provided you have space in there.I find that creatine powders need to separate out into 2 or 3 for this huge 454g size. Can use other supplement containers. If open and close in original container, it would clump up a bit. Nothing serious tho.
