last time i bought zoomfly 5 to replace tempo.
zoomfly 5 feels heavy.
based on reviewers, zoomfly 5 & zoomfly 6 are 2 very different shoes. zf6 has garnered quite alot of positive feedback. While it is positioned as a trainer version for the alphafly, many reviewers feel this version can do it all well as a training shoe.

But it's not meant for heel striker.
Probably not the best shoe for heel strikers, many other options out there. Am also a heel striker when i am tired and also with ankle issues, tried running around in the Nike shop for awhile, actually felt ok imo.
My next buy is between this Nike Zoomfly 6 vs BMAI 惊碳3.0Turbo

Just try to run on my new adidas adizero sl n don't think it's the shoes for me
Honestly, unless you are training for full/half marathon or looking hit pb or timing goals, if you are just a recreational runner putting in some miles to stay active then no need to overthink or get fancy mancy shoes. Priority would be comfortable and durable daily trainers. Models like asics novablast and gel nimbus series or new balance rebel v4 are more than adequate for most scenarios.

Wah, Novablast and Nimbus not considered fancy shoes? New Novablast 5 retails at $219 leh.

Think a lot of people start recreational running just buy random Skechers, Adidas, or Nike shoes below $100.

bmai cheap 🤣
i like qiaodan midsole esp the pb3.0 version. My favorite running shoe. But qiaodan running shoes aesthetics not my cup of tea.
i actually bought a pair of anta C202 v6 (< RMB500), but was too big. Also bought a of bmai jingtan 3.0 turbo (bmai supershoe RMB699). Left feet a little on the tight side. Returned both and went on holiday, now at retirement house for CNY. Will consider again after CNY.
i actually feel bmai jingtan 3.0 turbo has very good potential to be a really good shoe. very responsive midsole, wide stable heel, forefoot area well cushioned, lightweight (165g size41).

EDMW logic is can run means can run and african runners run bare feet one. But seriously, since my NS days(almost 20 years ago) and back until around 1 year ago, my running shoes were exclusively army issued or ones i bought at emart after i MR-ed. Never really bothered to research or invest in proper running shoes.

Now looking back at those army issued asics and NB, comparing to what i am currently using(Puma DN3. Adidas SL2) the difference is really night and day. At least for me, i won't bother considering anything below $100 as i feel running shoes are by and large 一分钱一分货(you get what you pay for). Also, no need to get the latest and newest e.g. still can find novablast 4 going for around $160 or wait for end of season sale for brands to clear out old models(got my Puma DN3 for $140+ and Adidas SL2 for $110+).

Did you try the Superblast 2 ?
Not possible to try in SG since its been OOS everywhere for the longest of time. Tried to get my contacts in malaysia and thailand to help me buy but also OOS every freaking where in those countries. Saw someone posted previously he managed to buy at Taiwan for $200+ which is dirt cheap since SG rrp when it was for sale was $319.

Add: The hell....now i search Superblast 2 and asics SG actually showing its in stock for selected sizes lol. $320 is hard to stomach though.........
