Hope you get your star. If I understand correctly the table you put out in your previous post, 3 stars and above guaranteed you for any WMM except TOkyo and Boston which need 4 stars.
Still need to enter balloting even if got the stars.

When you ran got the Stonecutters Bridge already? Google said it was opened in December 2009.

There was another long climb at the underground tunnel back to the Causeway Bay, but that one ok because not steep.

Overall I think the course not difficult. Bali marathon I think so far the hilliest one I ran.
Can't recall the names of bridges, dud cross a few bridges till almost reach Lantau island. It was in the year of the rabbit, 2011 so bas eon your info, the Stone cutter bridge should be part of the route. I also remember the underground from Kowloon to HK island. Not too bad for that.

Of course can always do other overseas marathons that are flat and cheaper
Gold coast?? If the WMM don't work out, I will just settle for this, since this is still flat course and weather is nice.

I’m not keen on Gold Coast.

No direct flight.
Plane ticket expensive.
Nothing much to do in Aus.

Can consider Osaka or Nara marathon.

From google, this IT kia fast sia

5k: 16:43 10k: 33:34 HM: 1:13:09 FM: 2:31:57

Actually it's wierd, i also dont know how to explain..... im lagging behind in 5k at the very most 1 minute

For 10k, it's 4-5 mins, significantly slower. Zzzz

HM, i havent ran that distance, but the few 17-18k i nearly DNF coz starting to feel pain here there and had to slow down to 5 min pace. 😅 :ROFLMAO:
I'd be happy to break 1:30 tbh if i ever tried

So I guess it's either 2 things, havent trained for long distance is like that so no good endurance, or not born to do marathon distances. 🤣

But that's not the main thing also......the thing is also that it's supposed to be the other way round, im quite a bit older than him (like 20 years + older) so people usually do FMs or even ultras.

Have you considered joining one FM for fun and just run say at 6:00 per minute?

I did consider before for HM just run slowly for fun / experience, but then end up didnt materialise coz the outcome like not enticing like that.
ie like no purpose and the process also not gonna be fun.

But for cycling it's quite different, im rather adapt to longer distances/duration be it slower Z1/Z2 or harder efforts. But again relative to what many others are doing (starting from 110 all the way to 600km) im still rather short in distance. lol

Just weighed this morning after pangsai pang dio early morning very little water intake over the night, 66.8kg.
Last time after race walking pure runner high 58kg (ie skinny twig status), after slow loading with creatine 4 weeks 61kg thereabouts.
edit - just checked iherb, i started Creatine in May 2024 so that's 10 months

BMI 22.3

Actually i think my waist / love handle fats might have gone down a little even....nothing scientific or absolute, just a quick pinch test. Literally not able to pinch much of anything, more of "thin" skin type of fats that can be barely be pinched with fingers but not grabbed with hands.

Bonus
This Nick Bare is barking impressive.

My inspiration
