I read on Reddit..a lot of runners actually doing their long run, training run and races all in their carbon plated shoes.. personally I also feel whether our ankles get weaker or not is up to individual lah.

Currently I also rotating between my superblast 1 and adios pro 3.. I do my long run using both of them.

Recently I also added adizero prime strung x 2 due to sale price of $209. Despite the weight of 300g. Which is considered Super heavy shoe for a light runner like me . 1.68m. 54kg .
I always wanted to try it 😉

Definitely, when your feet are acclimatized to the shoes. I believe most unstable shoes has a good chance to be acclimatized via gradual progression.

Only thing left i know that i like is novablast (superblast expensive comparatively), and NB Rebel seems to have lost its soul or something.

Just hope the strengthening helps.

Haha if my easy pace is 5min/km and below, I would probably do all my runs in plated shoes lol

I used to do carbon plate only for race days. With the price of china shoes now, I do all hard training and races in carbon plate (BMAI/Qiaodan). Only zone 2 jogs I use normal shoes hahaha.

Today I realised one good thing about running. Didn't realise it even though I run quite often

That is when you have problem or worry and you run you will look at the problem in a new light. And you realised you can solve it

Someone mentioned injury wearing these kind of shoe

My 5.0pro cost 150buck. If I run 200km per month it can last 4 months and it 40buck well spent. In the past it cost 300-400 which is double

im a bui bui runner with very slow speed and using forefoot. took Bmai JIngtan Fly for a short 6km run, with 6 min 30 sec to 7 min pace. wow i was impressed. felt slightly firm at this slow pace but it was ok.

Full length carbon plate which is on the soft side and continuing the comfort feeling of the shoe as there is no harsh plate stiffness, yet it does provide assistance in performance. Forefoot width is quite roomy. I think quite good and cheap shoes for casual runner since i bought from taobao at SG$60+.

I have NB rebel v4. Using less than 150km..it is very light shoe that is very well suited to those newbie beginner runner. I feel it is too soft rather than bouncy for me..

It’s a good stress reliever and for some, can also socialise with others. I know a friend who lives in Tampines, works at Tuas. Goes to different run clubs 3x a week. Even though it takes up a lot of time but he feels that running helps him to unclog from a long day of work.

Based on many people I know . They say can maintain 5min30 to 5mins 45 sec per km not bad liao .

I will say 6.00-6.15 to be not bad territory for a long run. 5.30-5.40 can actually get you into the fastest group in running club long runs. 7.00-7.30 is usually the baseline to join the clubs.

Wow. the only "bad" thing about me is I don't join any running club, I always run alone ...maybe I would improve my running coz probably I being forced to do interval speed training

I have been moving my dumbells parts to office via mrt for the past 1 week on some days. Total 16 kg (might bring another 4 kg in future). Each time 1 hour trip, move either 2, 4 or 6 kg. The 6kg trip was quite challenging as I scared my haversack will break.

Actually for people with limited time, and can't allocate enough of it do volume like dedicate runners or cyclist. Forget zone 2 training. It's not a efficient method to burn calories and gain VO2max in a short time. Do zone 3, tempo training with your limited time, and dedicate just one 30 minute session for a hard intensity, HIIT.

To reap the benefit of zone 2 training, really need to spend a significant amount of time in that steady state moderate intensity. Preferably each session more than one hour with one special session more than 1:45 hours call long runs. and do at least 4 session a week. If time doesn't allow, I say go do zone 3, you cover more volumes in that shorter time. Important is next day, you are not beat up and need 2 or 3 days to recover.
thanks coach, thats what i needed

got very interested in trail running after i did the 20k buff forest run yesterday.
i think it's so much more fun than road running.

anybody bought those china trail shoes before?
i tried running trail with the puma deviate nitro 2 but i think the stack abit too low for my liking.
im wearing the 361 flame 4x4. good carbon plated. but dont expect US brands high end performance. grip is there, but lugs not very deep for very technical climbs. plus point the toebox is wide for my 2e feet.

also bought mizuno wave mujin 10. good vibram grip. abit tight on toe, maybe need to up 1 size.

cheap thrills
