Chugging along in my attempts to run slow. Still quite difficult when I'm running outdoors, particularly after sunrise. Weather forecast said it would rain this morning, so I ran in the gym instead. Heartrate was lower, but it was tough mentally to keep running on the spot without any change in scenery.

Ya, I also can't do treadmill, very challenging mentally that after 30 minutes, you are still at the same spot.

What's so special about the shoes? My running shoes never exceed 200, dunno what I'm missing. Is it really worth the price?

Very rarely to see a running shoes at this heel stack height of 45mm that weight very light . About (250-260g). It also has racing mid sole of using the FF turbo plus founded in the metaspeed sky Paris . This superblast is all rounder shoes where u can use for daily run or even a race shoe although it does not have a carbon plate .

I do not own superblast 2 coz it is always sold out last year. But currently wearing superblast 1. I already ran about 500km and shoe is still good and I feel can go for another 800km to 1000km .

Bought from Li Ning plaza Singapua Feiyue Challenger 5 , and tried a run on it .Second carbon plated shoe after a pair of Hokas , not really for me as my normal running shoes are gel kayno . Dont think I can do more than 10km on the shoe. But really cheap for the price , i paid only 120 sgd

I do long races, but only those stablilty shoes are good for my feet
Stability shoes like the Kayanos are at the opposite end of the spectrum of stability from carbon plates racing shoes. These racing shoes compromise stability for performance. High stack, super critical process, almost zero ankle support all points to high risk for those susceptible to ankle issue.

for our usual training should just stick to stable, comfy shoes like my Anta PG7 and Asics Nimbus

feel like too much mileage in carbon-plated kicks will be bad for the legs in the long term...
If you don't join races, and no performance goal like sub 50 for 10km, can totally don't buy carbon plate shoes and go for your comfort shoes.

Quck/fun run with the family......suddenly just before 5 quite cooling (27 deg C ) and windy but no rain, no sun esp at the rooftop

Also, how i wish i knew how to train / picked up the hobby 20 years ago.
I remember i was dreading so much running on the company treadmill and the first 3-5 times was so sore and then i dreaded more. But the thought of RT lagi worse, so even though i hated the sessions (plus the assisted pull ups) i still had to grind.
