Just have a follow up x ray on my right ankle. All clear and recovered after 2 weeks . However . My gluteus medium pain still persist. Doctor said it is hip bursitis (GTPS) . Asked me to rest . My last run was 5km on the 27 aug which triggered the pain I only thinking of resume my run only after 11 sept...

Get well soon man....

Hehe....not i say one. Not sure if true but high chance shd help in future. Google/AI doc.

If wanna be aggressive, can use NSAIDs too plus RICE.....if no issue with NSAIDs but of coz use it properly.

Hip bursitis rehab focuses on reducing inflammation and pain through rest and activity modification, followed by gradual strengthening and stretching of the hip and core muscles to improve stability and prevent recurrence. Exercises like side-lying leg raises, glute bridges, and stretches for the glutes and hip flexors are crucial, but it's important to perform them without pain and under the guidance of a physical therapist to create a personalized plan.

Just did my first proper training in two weeks. 1:10 hr progression run. Kenna sidelined for two weks by sinus infection and when I thought can I resume, kenna serious nose allergy from dusty environment while clearing an old room at my dad's place.. Still have lingering cough and sneeze, but too long liao, fitness dropped, training plan also disrupted.

Always must be mindful to wear KF94, it does help.......even for common cold/influenza. Also cuts down allergic rhinitis episodes for me, actually literally to zero at my office env coz the AC sucks. If i try not to wear, within half a day or so need to hoot cetirizine. Past few years since covid been wearing in AC env / mrt coz dont wanna affect training / health.

But so far with such wearing of mask, no impact on health when i do get common cold, all very minor episodes even if infected. (some might think "too clean liao" and then affect proper immune response shd there eventually be an infection)
Even if you do get infected, with the lower viral load, there is evidence that the infection outcome is much milder, as our immunity is not jitao "overwhelmed" with a huge viral load. That also means faster recovery and easier to get back to training.

Hope you recover soon, I just went to doctor for cold earlier today, no infection but still have runny nose.

Anyone knows how run so fast academy cost how much per month? How is the training and coaching like?

Not cheap type but affordable if you believe it is top level coaching that can get you results, say if you are already advanced level and have issues surpassing "elite". For eg, Surpassing a 5k of 17:40 @ age 30 or 18:36 for age 40.
Be prepared to shell out 5k a year or more if you want solid coaching with rather frequent sessions.

Got 1 pax in this thread on his coaching.

Got fever and solid feeling of malaise bro?

If no fever, there is a chance that it might be allergic rhinitis or sinusitis or similar. Or even nonallergic rhinitis.

You haven tried your flame 4? Just ordered one yesterday even though got 4.5,chose 4 for the colorway haha
I feel plaid 2.0 is more suitable for faster paces as it has more energy return but overall for training flame 4 better as on slower paces, it is more responsive than plaid 2

When I first joined was 4k for 1 year but if u don't want commit 1 year then is 400/month. Now I train under another coach and not him personally but Soh will upload your training plan on google docs/sheets, can't rmb, he will tell u target pace etc. Once a week he will call you and talk to u about progress etc on top of daily messages. On the sheets/docs, u are to update how u feel about the run, effort level etc.

Those interested can try this.
https://strengthlevel.com/

For me is intermediate nia. (vs other lifers of coz, just that i am not really a lifter and probably train more and to failure + drop sets/deload weeks more than the casual recreational gym in a more structured way, bro but def not more than a typical hobbyist level gym bro)

But then this is my 8 reps best strength.....verified with my luggage hanging scale. Dont dare to 1 rep max type, scared herniation etc. lol.

ps. Good thing that my left leg is not that much off from my right leg. I can do 6 pretty decently, push to 7 and sometimes 8 no issue. Right leg i can somewhat comfortably manage 8, but 9 is quite the stretch and form would be quite OFF.
Also, grip strength would also be a limiter by then. (trying to train with deadhangs as well...maybe try single hand deadhang soon also, hope that helps)

Single leg = trains your balance and all those small little muscles responsible as well as the neuro coordination etc. I think for old age past age 65 that is also one key factor other than brute force strength
This level of balancing is still easier than a pistol squat (which i still cant always balance perfectly)
