Bro i am on DNS 8.8.8.8, can try. ie try changing to 8.8.8.8

Can see if can load pornhub, that means you are on google dns.

ps. It is not illegal to stream porn, technically speaking. So nothing illegal shared here.

My personal (non-expert) experience is that push ups is good to train core in terms of stability. It's esp useful for my cycling, then followed by running. I really noticed it for my cycling quite significantly.....dont wanna expose more but it really can optimise in the twisty bits, really can feel the improvement in bicycle handling since early Oct as i further improved in push ups. And of coz the triceps, good for cycling front handlebar handling as well i think.

From what i see a lot of cyclists, even those performance roadies who spend $$$ even on the last bit of hardware do not strength train in such a way, which is a shame. Coz all these are really "free" performance but just untapped nia.

When training push ups, it'd be good to train pulling as well, just bicep curls and some rows enough for us liao. To avoid muscle imbalances, resulting in posture issues etc (front muscles more power than the back muscles, coz basically those are untrained) Resistance bands are so convenient.

Then also i'd try not to go beyond 50 reps, law of diminishing returns. Form and proper range of motion is key. If you wanna train short reps but very quickly so as to whack the fast twitch, also can. Nowadays i only do diamonds and decline push ups, resistance + hit the upper pectorals. And some shorties/quickies for fast twitch.
Also, by doing push ups with pushing with the outer parts of my palm and lifting my thumbs, so im not using the full palm to push, but just the outer parts of my palm to push, it really helps with the wrist pain.
The training of the core is indeed very visible. No more backaches when bending over for housework. I don't go beyond 50 reps too. Currently sustaining 20 reps x 4 in 1 day. It's good enough apparently. But can't do more than a few days or the elbow can have that ache which means I need to gradually build up over time. I also need to train pulling just as you said, I need to consciously adjust my posture while walking so that I won't look hunched.
Thanks for the tips!

Yeah.....even as recent as earlier part of last year, i underestimated the importance of this.
And also strength training in general.

Btw for my rows, some types of rows i also incorporate good mornings as part of it, with the resistance bands. 2-in-1, saves time.

Any of you attended before ?

Some here attended before but i think none on a regular basis.

Soon, esp when TEL Tg Katong opens. ECP parkrun. Think i might attend on a somewhat regular basis. Wanna minimize the travelling time as much as possible. (i will take from TEL Maxwell).

Now actually i can just run for fun test test, i can cycle there, but then quite the distance from my place, around 10km cycling distance one way. Cheap chinese foldie, rather inefficient compared to a road bike.

Luckily last night did not go down to anywhere near MBS. Not even 1 street away from Promonitory.
(truth be told, is coz the last rain stopped at around 8.30pm, so roads still rather wet, and i hate to cycle when the grounds are still wet)

Only this morning i went there at around 5.45am. I think i saw well over 1000 people still sleeping on the streets/public areas over there.

ps. Not sure where would the authorities stop bicycles from cycling into the area, it could be where the barricade starts, ie from my direction to there, @ Lau Pa Sat area.
Reason of not wanting to run there is coz bicycle can sue the roads and not be affected by jammed walkways. :ROFLMAO:

Not quite the 5K PB (that time in July was full send nearly died iirc) but then since late 2023 i not that keen to push and sustain redline for 2-3 mins.
This one around 6-10 bpm below MHR of ~ 182 bpm but managed to get within 8 seconds of PB. But then again, slightly different temperature and RH% then. So...... 🤔

Think possible to hit PB soon without redlining.

Last week's 3K PB also not really full send. (actually same pace @ 3.47 🤔 )

Hope that means got improvement all these months. :ROFLMAO: Bar the slight diff in temperature + RH% of coz (believe there is a difference, but not much for these relatively shorter distances, 10K i tend to overheat liao at such paces).
Plus some more experience in more optimal pacing so as to squeeze the last drop out.
