is it difficult to complete a half marathon under 2 hours?
that's about 5.40min/km pace, it feels very fast for my current state.
i intend to join one race end of year, maybe stanchart.
That’s my target as well. I guess have to take one step at a time, slowly build up our base and speed. Keep running and you will see results soon.

Few more days for my first marathon of the year. I see the route like got Sheares Bridge 2.0. Not enough training again, probably just run walk leisurely around 5 hours plus.

Flying there on Friday. It’s dry season now and apparently quite cool. Hope can get a decent timing despite run walking because I still want to explore the city after the run.

The last SCMC I could have ran faster if not for my hurting toes. This time round I got a slightly larger pair of shoes. Think my feet expanded.

For the walkers/joggers/cyclists here

Yes, some cyclists also do this. It's not super rare. Talking about reading social media / texting or seen once before watching video

Share my own experience. My first running fall is because I was looking at google map to navigate to the famous CTK at Yishun. Usually when slow jog, you let you guard down. Tripped on the kerb when I was transiting from road to pavement.. After this incident, whenever I need to navigate I will stop my run, bring out my phone and check the map and memorize the next few turning.

I had the exact same experience, also tripped over a kerb. From then, only check map when stationary.
