@Ender
Gonna get the HW Watch Fit 3, think released 3 months ago.

Wife's GT Runner got "stolen", left it in hospital room's window sill during during IV drip stay there and forgot to take. Left hospital at 11pm and called next day noon, gone liao, no lost and found.
But anyway, can sense battery life going a bit down, daily GPS use after 4 days need to charge liao which is a bit bummer coz last time can tahan 1 full week.

I just know this new model can support music upload to watch on iOS Apple phones. GT Runner does not have this music tab in the Huawei Health App while Andriod phones (me) has this function.

You know what's the GPS and HR sensor performance for this one? Got good youtube tests?

There is the GT4 but not sure about the difference, but i think maybe the similar to Apple Watch square format is a good and nice change for my wife, more fashion la.

Saw the Quantified Scientist review on this too, excellent HR monitor too. Some more it has built in GPS. I believe it's a single band GPS. But performance looks decent enough from his quick test. As good as any single band GPS.
Definitely this one value for money sport watch. Considering this can be around $150 or maybe less if during sales.

most important is to stay safe

btw just curious, the kinda canopy accident that caused Goose's death in Top Gun...usually who will be blamed ah ?

You mean the ejection ?

It's the pilot himself. Actually even if you can stayed alive after the ejection, your life will be shortened because of the upward force which is very bad for your spine.

I see. Do ground crew need to do any checks on the functionality/detach-ability of the canopy ?

No, that will be handled by the 2nd Line Personnel.

So far in my whole 6 years, I never touched that area caused you are not supposed to and that's why there's a number of safety pins in place for safety purposes.

I only wipe and clean the Canopy, front and side glasses.

My fall so far are very fatal which can cost me my life.

Worked in Airforce and while rushing, twisted my right ankle caused my ankle to be badly swollen, bandaged and need to use support stand to nove around.

Fell down from 1 storey high when I was working in NTUC Store. Need to bring 1 Carton from that high level and used the ladder but fell down and luckily the Carton never land onto me. And funny is nothing happened to me 🤔

Raining and running one of the night, slip as it was wet and dropped into a 5 feet narrow drain, luckily never hit my head. Got to thanks NB for their stability shoes.

After vaccination, few days later went Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and walked. While walking uphill, suddenly blackout and fell off from the cliff and luckily was saved by the tree.

Uncle should have already died many years ago liao.

So now, I run very very carefully 👻
So far I only had a very bad fall before the pandemic started. I was jogging in West Coast along the stretch to West Coast Plaza. I tripped, sprained my ankle and fractured my feet slightly. Took me months to recover and I think that was the point where I found it hard to regain my fitness. Before this there were many occasions also where I twisted my feet.

Now I ran much more defensively and always ensure I’m running in stable shoes with orthotic insoles. So far the Aetrex ones work best for me. If ground is uneven or sloped one side I will change to midfoot strike for more stability. Slower but safer.

Oh, you're using orthotic insoles.

I just started to use but need to get use to it.

Guys, as we know, jogging and walking uses different leg muscles.
how about walk up stairs, can walk up stairs be any help to jog and walk Muscles?
cos I tried few times, i pant like as if I run full speed.

Can try some Bulgarian squat to strengthen your leg.

the faster the run, the harder the fall for sure. with all things, better awareness of surroundings will help abit.

OH yeah Quantified scientist that is the name.

Wow, the GT Runner still holds its own. The HR sensor in the GT Runner still measured a little better than this Fit 3.
GPS shd be a little better also.

But maybe for my wife's use not so critical for this. (though for my use i'd benefit with the GT Runner).

But for sure i think girls they would like the squarish apple watch format. (y)

And of coz, $168 - 7 discount

This Fit 3 one the songs seems to be able to work for iOS Apple devices liao, GT Runner that one still cannot (even after s/w update and update and update)....dont know why, does not seem to be with the Huawei Update function. Not sure why

The $244 GT 4 has 32GB storage (for songs) and this one is just 4GB. But 192kbps mp3 is plenty with 4GB already, even for my 60-90 mins live techno sets. For my wife is those short songs, so more than enough.

Surprisingly when I fell I only ran easy around 6:30 per km. Now I pay more attention to my running form. Earpiece must always set ambient sound on. Slow down when near pedestrians and especially cyclists.
