Yesterday did my fast run. Think I might have exerted myself too much because I went into Zone 5 and there were a couple of time my chest tightened. After the run still have slight tightness persisted for another hour. Think I need to be more careful next time.

Hope that can maintain current no comorbidity status from the tests till age 70.
Then can hoot more.

But is not only hope, really need to actively take care in all aspects holistically......as they say, shift the age graph towards to the left as much as possible. (starting younger also helps)

I have not done full checkup for years already. Maybe I should now that I try to prepare for FM more seriously.

Since you might have possible symptoms, possibly need the mid-range ones, just under 1k. Still cheaper investment than 1 overseas FM. Remember, keyword might, not all pains / discomfort over there = something wrong with the heart.

For those with no symptoms and not genetically at risk (parents/grandparents), treadmill ECG as a stress test sufficient liao, few years do once.

These things are like most cancers, they do not develop in an instant but over many years.

I was wondering when will TAO gives me my Long run for the SCSM training. Coz I set the SCSM race date prior to Skechers run. This is it. Guess this is TAO way of saying training begins.

can show your splits with HR? out of curiosity
i want to know how i fare in comparison.

i've looked into it because i am training by pace now at the moment but it's too damn expensive.
Most runners who went for Stryd is when they want to train by power intensity. Stryd is one of the pioneer therefore it has one of the most established way of zoning by power. Need to do Critical Functional power test, machiam like LTHR when we want to zone by LT. Being a foot pod, the other advantage is it can gives instant pace. But if you train by pace intensity, then you miss out the thing they was well known for, i.e train by power intensity.

That's why even when we have power reading on Coros or Garmin, not many runners use that function. They do not have a well developed method of determine Funtional Threshold power with their watch. But I guess it is similar to testing LTHR, agar agar just use Power vs LActate (4 mmol) instead of pace or HR vs Lactate.

I wouldn't want to spend alot on money on it if I am not very sure I am going to train via power intensity for the rest of its life span.

Right now I am using Coros foot pod, which is alot cheaper than Stryd. But it will only work on Coros products and don't have the power intensity training.

LAter then sceen shot my long run splits with HR. Not easy to do without a PC.
