Give it a go.

My Plaid was pressing on my big toe initially. Probably bought 1/2 size too large and there's some sliding to the front.

But I think getting used to the shoes and tighter lacing helps. After a couple months, no more pain with sprints and 10k.

Now the new 1080 V13 is pressing on big toe... Pain after 7km. Gotta play around with it and hope it gets better.
Thanks for your advice. Will definitely give it a go to get me feet 'seasoned' to the QD PB 4.0 shoes.
One thing I notice on the QD is the upper is the structure is quite weak and floppy. Easily give way to movement. I can mitigate the toe injury when I use the PB3.0 without the insole. Not much of the impact on running shoes performance or comfort. But for PB4, the insole is glued to the shoes. Most super shoes' upper are like that to reduce weight and have more breathability. But Nike and Adidas so far so good.
It was only when this toe issue came on with recent time (coincide with super shoes introduction) that I began looking at my feet a few weeks ago. Both of my L/R big toes are slight bent laterally. It's like a very mild form of bunion which you see on most ladies, especially runners. Usually the cause is too narrow footwear for a very long period of time, eg. their narrow high heels all day in the office. Runners do get them too. Right now I using those cheapo toes separator from Shopee to wear at home, and hopefully can mitigate further degradation.

Good luck with the seasoning.

I have bunions too from kid time wear football boots. Big toe point inwards slightly. The best solution I found was go 1/2 size up or get 2E version of the shoe.

Otherwise have to read reviews for shoes with plenty of toebox space.

Ran half marathon on track (52 laps + 300m)

- no hydration
- no gels
- no carbon-plate shoes
- there was someone to pace with for 2-3k of the total distance
- 3rd time running the distance (1st time 8 years back, 2nd time for LSD last week)

Probably able to run 4.32-4.33 min/km if I could burst at the end, but legs started to feel the cramp. Don't really have much experience running 21.1k

Also, ran with Aaron on Thursday. He is pacing 5.00 min/km for the Garmin HM.

He runs at Garmin Run Club, sometimes you can bump into him at CCAB. He does most of his workouts at CCAB. But it's way too crowded for me. Prefer Ngee Ann Poly Track. Bukit Gombak Track is ok on friday nights, other days quite packed.

Novablast 4 selling at 145 at royal sporting house Tanglin mall. Got for my daily slow runs as I like the novablast 3 which has served me for a year

That's a good price for the latest version. I would have gone for this if I hadn't bought the Bmai cushion shoe and the NB Rebel v3.
