Wah hope later will stop in the evening for the region. A bit risky if this continues.

Super motivated today (large part of good weather these few days). @ work also dreaming.

Hope the cool weather carry on til SCSM. I don't mind the level of rain when it does, just hope it rains after say 2 hours after the start when the morning sun rises.

Should be possible......this year seems not like last year, last year was crazy, not much wet weather even in Dec and hence relatively warm. Wasnt until end Dec then cooled down with long bouts of rain but even then the relatively cool weather only lasted like what...3 weeks?

I feel really need to somewhat regularly practice TTs if you really are into this.

Didnt run 3k for quite a while and couldnt grasp that pace. Either too fast and then wanna compensate then became too slow.

It feels a bit different too, not sure if is due to the beta alanine effects also.

And it had to start to drizzle during the second half, hence floor started to get a bit wet and i didnt want a sprint finish. Latter half really too slow.

Next time try again. 5 seconds off the PB.

Result of my today's run, didn't complete my TAO prescribed training. If I didn't meet my SCSM goal, I am blaming this shoes for my undertraining. LOL.

You're doing a lot more mileage than many people leading up to scsm. Hope it finally pays off when u hit your goal!

Around 10 days to SCSM! Hopefully those that are participating have had sufficient training by now and start to taper for the race next weekend. For me I'll start next week as I still wish to do a short mix of hills and tempo workouts this week to try simulate the race conditions. But for sure the steepness at Gurkha Contingent are good practice grounds for hills, although not as steep as Sheares Bridge. I think one of the main differences for me this year compared to last year is the increased amount of mileage invested in and enough mix of different workouts to be able to sustain longer distances at quicker paces.

Similar to last year, I'll be treating SCSM as another long run session, to prep myself up for the Xiamen Marathon next year as hopefully i can finally get sub 3h there. As for SCSM, I'm aiming between 3:15 to 3:25 this year but another PB here would be good enough for me (3:35 last year), cause i don't expect too much under the weather here, to be honest.
