Bigfoot reporting in !

Ended up making a last-minute purchase of Anta PG7 for around SGD 60. Haven't started running in it though. Not the most roomy for my 4E feet, but the support and build feel solid.

Was staying near and went to a very local, small shopping centre in a further-out area of the city... in hindsight, maybe should have bought in the big malls which can do tax refund.

Came across this. Thing is also this, they can hold this pace for 1-2 miles, as endurance.

For this, you'd better pray that you have at least a good bicycle at your disposal.

Hypertonic load (over concentration of carbs), slows GI adsorption. Just sits in your stomach.
As opposed to isotonic.

Never tried this method before, but just out of curiousity i was trying to see how I fare for the past 2 weeks of block training, and here are the responses that I've gotten from the LLM's for data in-depth analysis.

ChatGPT:
Overall: Your aerobic base and consistency are excellent foundations for sub-3. The critical next step is systematically introducing marathon pace work and controlled high-intensity sessions while managing fatigue through rest. This structure will bridge your strong endurance to the specific demands of racing 42.2km at 4:15/km. Stick to the plan, focus on MP, and prioritize recovery – you're on a great trajectory! 🏃‍♂️💨

Deepseek:
You're off to an excellent start in your marathon training block, showing strong consistency and a well-developed aerobic base. Your recent training reflects disciplined pacing, controlled effort on easy days, and purposeful inclusion of long runs and moderate-intensity work. This foundation is exactly what’s needed at this stage — it builds endurance while leaving room to sharpen speed and race-specific fitness in the coming weeks. You're progressing in the right direction for a sub-3 goal.

Looks like I'll be doing this more often haha.
I think sub 3 is a guarantee for u if not in SG haha

 Guess too far a distance

But then again even if i good swimmer, i will never do middle distances of Ironman 70.3 / T100 Triathlon (HM and 18k run leg), let alone full Ironman (FM run leg).
Too siong too long a suffering. (I prefer intense and short suffering....opposite of others my age)

For my stats this morning:

Zone 5: 171bpm to 189bpm (63.7%)
Zone 4: 152bpm to 170bpm (31.4%)

Bro better chill a bit, or just break it into intervals...... that is like VO2max workout, nothing wrong but over 7km shd really be pretty advance hobbyists or sub-elite level.

Your legs can tahan from the lactate, or you just continued to "mind over body" ah?
