Real Run 2025

I knew I was not ready for sub 40 after 2 failed intervals training in back to back weeks but still gave it a shot.

The only positive takeaway from this run is that despite bonking at 7km,I didn't let the pace slipped that much afterwards.

Try harder next time!

Congrats. Did the same race today. Much slower than you.

although I didn't meet my target of 48 minutes, but happy nevertheless cause the weather was terrible at 34C and the gravel road in Coney Island makes it very unstable for my 361 flame 4 . Got 49:07 official time, not too far off from target. Also around 7km, my pace slowed down, cause it was kinda unbearably hot. , but after 8km, glad for the shaded trees, able to pick pace all the way. Managed to cheong the final up slope inside SIT.

Congrats to you as well. Risky to use Flame 4 on the gravel road.

Thinking of using the flame 4 for garmin run tomorrow(Last min takeover of slot).

Weather still look fine at the moment, some patches developing 100km west of SG.

Hope can hold up till at least 9.30am for everyone to finish their activities.

I got no expectation. Used to be competitive for a few years and played a total of 10 yrs active when I was teens and mid 20s. Now old and probably 8 kg heavier.
The last time I played basketball was during secondary school days. Was my main sport then. I remembered i sprained my fingers frequently then. Visited the Chinese bone setting master several times, lol. At my age, I don't think I can go back to basketball except to shoot hoops. I can't handle a match where contact with another player is inevitable.

For now I will play alone maybe for a few weeks. Maybe when I'm conditioned, I might play matches. If possible next year I join my department basketball team.
