to me, the Feiying logo looks crap to meI prefer the big Chinese Feiying logo on Plaid 1. More unique and keeping to their roots.
But big Q on Plaid 2 is fine too.
Hope this is production sample. The English "FY Plaid" looks crap as well.![]()
I had never ran in such a cold temperature. But I once ran in a torrential rain fall in the early morning before sunrise It was cold enough that I was shivering to the bone. I can't even bring up my pace to zone 3, when I was supposed to do interval. It's like the engine can never get warm up enough for the muscle to work.taking a break in my morning run after 15km. You guys mean to big wordings on the lateral side of the shoes? I thought these wordings look similar to all their PB series since day 1. My FY PB 2,3 and 4 all have these huge wording. Looks ok, but definitely very chinese.to me, the Feiying logo looks crap to me![]()
it's really about body acclimatized or conditioned to perform at such conditions.I had never ran in such a cold temperature. yah, the Chinese characters done in a concept relating to speed. From the aesthetics point of view, I don't think it looks nice graphically. While it depicts speed and relate to its origin, it lacks simplicity, elegance and cmi (both from layman and design perspective). You guys mean to big wordings on the lateral side of the shoes? Nene as the anchor runner, makes sense since he ran more 400s and even recorded a sub 44s finish before world championships. I think Nierkerk overperformed expectations during the day itself. Nene did well too, being the 2nd fastest relay split runner. The other 2 runners didn't perform well, but makes sense since they were high 44s and low 45s runners. They performed as expected, unless the other 2 runners step up in the future.yes i agree van nierkerk had a great chance on the 400m podium if he ran for 400m. But let's not forget one has to go through heats & semi finals before the final. His legs may not have the same power by the final.
But lets focus back on the relay, few observations why van nierkerk's relay run was so impressive
1) 2nd to 3rd leg hand over: S.Africa was tie on 3rd/4th place with Belgium and slightly ahead of 5th, but some 10m behind 1st and 2nd. Brought back parity at 3rd to Anchor leg handover.
2) van Nierkerk's leg lifts on the backstraight was consistently higher than Belgium's Doom, as well as US & Botswana's 3rd runners.
3) van Nierkerk's cadence appears to be higher at the final stretch (until near handover) than the 1st and 2nd. His stride length appears longer as well.
I suspect if S.Africa swap runners in the last 2 legs, van Nierkerk might have ran down both Bostwana and US at the line.
The issue with any WR attempt is that he will likely put his legs at high stress, whether he achieves the record or not.Terok, that probably means 2026 any WR record wont happen.
I Jakob fan one.
Wait....... Ingebrigtsen told The Guardian in early January that his Achilles was feeling “very good” and that he planned to start his 2026 season at the Bislett Games in Oslo in June, adding that he hoped to make world record attempts in the 1500, mile, and 5000.![]()
Not disagreeing with your analysis. What I was pointing out was not purely on logic but also the element of feel and the adrenalin. Based on van Nierkerk’s performance that day, he was in a good shout to run down Botswana and USA at the line.Nene as the anchor runner, makes sense since he ran more 400s and even recorded a sub 44s finish before world championships.
