You are probably in the top 1% for HM timings in Singapore already.

Not only top 1% for his M55-59, but specifically podium ie 1 2 or 3 for most years. Or like i also said and remember correctly, podium for girls SCSM any age if dont mind the (fun) comparison....ok maybe not every year but quite a number of years.

But of coz, there is also a very small chance that there are "privateers" like him as well. Just not join any clubs or groups, or even races (not even parkruns).

the timing does verify apple watch vo2max indicator to be fairly accurate for me and satisfy my own personal curiosity if i can hold a 4" pace for HM.

I think masters prob u podium. In a HM race in SG, prob top 20-30 position

As for 9Pro, youtubers Hui and FOD runner seemed to think the 9Pro is a minor upgrade over the 8Pro with the 2 being very similar shoes by and large. The cheaper 8Pro would be better value if you are looking at these 2.

like the direction which they are testing the colorways. the 3 i like in different play of colors directions are
1) limegreen: tone-on-tone approach (midsole is part of the entire colorway design),
2) red with contrasting vertical strips in the middle: bold contrasting style
3) the white/grey version: more normal

They should have come up with all these colors the first time but I think they didn’t expect the shoe to get so much exposure and become popular.

My white one after 270km quite dirty now. If given a choice among these colorway, I think I will choose the red one haha

If got knee pain, use a very strong/tough miniband to strengthen the quads at its most stretched position and do partial reps (just do till half of the first vid), kick the other leg backwards so that the tension is increased.

And of coz, need to be paired with the mini squats from standing position to work the upper range and also hit the glute max.

1h easy recovery run 6" pace avg HR 122 (slightly elevated due to heat)
no pain or strains from yesterday' session quads and glutes feels tighter than usual.

Short answer. Xiaonian for faster runs like tempo. The rocker just wanna go fast.

Red Hare 9U for slower relaxed runs. Or just abit faster. Because no rocker and the huge cushion stack is not nimble. (can still go fast with the bounce but not feeling much feedback is strange)

Cushioning and stability is good though.

I asked sellers on Taobao. They suggest going 1 size up from usual(44) which would be 45 for me.

Some reviews suggest sizing up while some TTS. Dilemma...

Is the shoe soft and bouncy as reviews suggest?

Um mr uncle ah....the uncles here at my area i see, zone 2 is at best 7:00, majority slower than that.

Heck, last evening for the 2 gyms at my area, i saw the young xmms running at Duxton park, panting away at 7-8 min pace and full of perspiration (i know coz i got my GPS with me on the bike even when go buy cai png). Granted, 7.15pm %@#$@#$ hot lah. They usualy run between the fitness corner and the indian temple there near new bridge rd.

I tested anta c202 7 before at the boutique, and the champion series one or two years back. Basically their EU46 is like 44.5. I think I need to wear their EU47.5 which doesn't exist in their catalog. I think for ANTA , is really best to test out in their boutique store here before buying online. Really small.

humm... so many "distractions" still got heart to train meh?

for me.. i include "gym" training into my daily run routine. At the end of my daily runs, there are 3 play grounds/fitness corners and i rotate between them as there are different stations and facilities. Free and good. And most importantly it's part of the routine so I don't even have to think about it.

Ya, wear your thick skin, and with the judgmental tone to reject the shoes as not suitable for you. A few more practice, the skin will be numb to pai seh.

This guy is quite big size and has slightly wide feet. He say no issues with going 正码(usual size) for the Zone 2. One thing he did note is that the Zone 2 has very poor grip for slippery conditions but probably not that applicable in Singapore unless you run in wet conditions

They are a really small boutique company. If i am not wrong, there are only at max 5 ppl in the company and only 3 of them were working on Xiaonian. To do so many colorways before knowing how their products fare in the market is kind of a stretch. So to me i understand their context.
