Been quiet over here recently, Spent a good 7 weeks in Singapore, KL and Taiwan and did quite a total of 27 runs. Had very interesting runs and thought I share with everyone my run-exploring. 314km of run during my long vacation, could have been more but I fell sick eating too much durian and caught a virus at the "Dear You" movie, sat in between an entire theatre of old people. Down for more than a week.

Notable interesting runs are

Singapore

Pioneer MRT>Raffles place (21.8km)
Pioneer MRT>Redhill Mrt (17.7km)
Raffles place >Orchard>West Coast hawker centre (18km)
Raffles Place> Bedok Mrt (15km)
Tiong Bahru Mrt> Whampoa> Bishan MRT (18km)

Cruise Ship

Ran on Cruise ship 12km, it's fun if you have not done so.

Kuala Lumpur
Concorde>KL Tower>Bukit Bintang>Puduraya>KLCC>Saloma bridge>Kampong Bahru>Hotel (16km)

Taiwan - Covered 100km in 10 days- very hot, hotter than Singapore

Kaoshiung

高雄車站—>Love river,壽山,駁二 (11km) popular route for runners

Tainan(21km and 18.5km, 2 runs)

台南車站—>漁光島,安平老街(18.5km) as suggested by local runners
台南車站—>奇美博物館 (21km) ran with local runners

Taipei

台北車站—>中正紀念堂,大安公園,台北101,國父記念館,西門町 (16.5km)

I think Singapore is still Lumbar 1 for running paths out of these 3 countries though there's a lot of things to see in all 3 countries. It's been a very memorable 7 weeks of running.

What the guy saying is correct. The usual exercises that seniors do (and prescribed by PTs no less) just arent enough.

Bear crawl variant spotted. Very useful movement.

Maciam like a less hardcore variant of the "I am Longevity" uncle.

Senior, better do BMD test, befor embarking of parkour. ALmost all will have some degree of Osteoporosis. Rather they do strenght training for a year, before begining parkour.

bros... take your hydration seriously. had a scare after my long run.
Potassium was at 6.1 mmol/L. After drip dropped back to 4.

Cos it was a full nasal easy long run. I didn't realised I was losing so much fluid! Literally I was the frog that was being cooked:ROFLMAO:. I started my run mid morning and the sun was unforgiving.

Blessing is that all is well and nothing damaged and now I have a full blood works to geek out on.

Run safe everyone.

if run at 15C,
T + breathable windbreaker + thin long pants , good enough ?
Is it a windy place? Yes that’s typically okay. I do quite a bit of cold running. It will be tshirt, shorts for me in that temperature.

if you get cold easily, first 5-10mins will be cold and then it will be fine.

if it’s 5 degrees celsius and below, it will be nice to have gloves and a toque just to cover the extremities

Can ask you guys about Miro SL?

Did you bought true to size? Is the front narrow?

I assume you all bought the version 1 for the airy upper. The upper should be quite flexible given it's open weave?

I'm thinking of buying version 1.5 for the look. In case I don't like running in it, still can wear for casual.

But customer reviews seems mixed. Some say the front is narrow, some normal, some wide??? :s13:
But the upper does look more fitted and harder to expand, if required for my wide feet.

V1 is cheaper by $10 but only white colourway available.

Hard decision to make!

For me, TTS. it's the no hairy tongue fixed version 1. Upper is extremely breathable. Width is just nice for my normal width foot, so I call it normal width. Not for wide footers. The 361 lf sl 1.5 models do have the lifestyle footwear look for some of the colorway. I also find the newer colorway for v1 also have the lifestyle look. Do note that I am old man taste, wear hawker style singlet most of the day.

Appreciate your reply. 🙏

Ya the newer V1 colourways look good for casual too.

I'm thinking if I size up to 45(from 44) to accommodate my bunion feet, the length might be abit too long.

If the upper is flexible, chances are it can stretch and give a nice fit. Then I could get away with size 44.

V1.5 upper seems like more fitted and not so stretchable.

The fabric appearance looks somewhat like the R2 shoe I bought earlier. After washing the shoe, the upper shrunk and felt tighter. First time I experienced this...
