among the 5, gim cheng is overrated. it was really popular precovid or smth, idk. its overhyped and really crowded and not really good. owner too busy counting their profits they no time maintaining quality. they could very well be reselling BOD/supermarket dimsum and business would still go on autopilot from it's popularity.

chang man not bad. long operating hours too. their siew mai, carrot cake are good. tea also good. u tried b4 their meals? like chicken rice or wanton noodles?

Don’t buy imported goods in MY as their USA tax is 47% va sg 10%.
No wonder their imported goods is more ex than sg

47% is msia charge US. i believe this is the tax msia alrdy imposed on US?
US charge msia is 24%.

in hindsight this might be good for sg, since it saves msia companies 14% if they use sg as a proxy to US

Precovid I love Chang man chicken rice but post covid haven’t tried yet. Not sure is the standard still the same.
Now I love Chang man’s signature dumpling kway teow soup quite a fair bit.

US taxes against sg is the lowest in asia. 10% is the lowest universal tax? it would greatly benefit us considering we are alrdy an international hub and the popularity of our ports and what not.

not too sure the details but US reciprocal tax they kind of calculate base on trade deflicit? hearsay the figure it based on the differences between import and export and the existing tax each country have on US goods.
