me too is waiting for the signing of the lease of agreement. HLE just approved last week. I believe they will invite us to sign before the expiry of the HLE validity.

3) Yup, there will be 2 HLE applications. One before the lease of agreement (they will help u fill the forms during the flat booking) and one before key collection. The one before the lease serves as a guide. The one before the key collection is the main thing, so if the 2nd loan assessent is unable to cover the remaining costs, we have to pay in cash. But then again, it is 2-3 years down again..

Anyone knows why the past few days of BM 4-rm selection,both the Malay and Chinese quota seems to be decreasing together? i.e. 1 selection resulted in both Chinese and Malay decrease ?

I think it will be ok. If I remembered correctly, we will still be eligible for the BTO and HLE even if the combined income exceeds the ceiling during the key collection.. Think the eligibility is based on the time of application.

I dont think so. I think there are no selections on Saturdays and PHs.

Is it the TBR ones? If so, I think it is due to the number of flats left, i.e. there are only 20 flats left and the quotas for Malay and Chinese are 5 and 20 resp. So when one flat is chosen by a chinese, it will be down to 19 (since there is only 19 flats left) and 4. This is the only reason I could thought of..

thanks for the reply. But if a chinese selects and the Chinese quota reduces to 19, why should that affect the Malay quota ?
Perhaps if the Malay and Chinese quota today is 10 and 10, total units in the flat is also 10, then if any ethnic chooses, the quota automatically reduces other ethnic groups quota. It doesn't make sense to have a quota of 10 but only 9 units left.

If you are unable to come for your selection appointment, you may authorise another Singapore Citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident, aged 21 and above, to select a flat on your behalf using the standard Authorisation for Selection of Flat form.

You might want to consider this option?

I think HDB will refund after initial down payment is made, I;m waiting for my 1k as well...

Need some 1 advice here..

I have a balloted number of 12xx for Jul BTO and on hand i have a 26x/224 in Sengkang Sep SOBF. Was looking forward to the SK Sep SOBF but looking at the take up rate of Jul BTO, i might be called up for selection. i have also gave up 1 chance for May BTO.

Question is, if i gave up my selection for Jul Punggol BTO, will my balloted number for SK Sep SOBF be gave up as well?

Need you guys great advice.

that ghim moh nov bto goes up to 38 floor so the price range in comparison is actually the similar isn't it?
