I'm not sure of this though.
I think it will be best to wait till the selection dates are out first. It may not clash eventually, right?

can someone pls advise on this:

my htb and i made some investment thru our cpf accounts few years ago and till now it is not making any profits but loss only - abt $500++

do you think we should stop the investments and have the $$ credit back to our cpf OA account so we have more funds for the new house? which is abt 21k more!

if u purchase thru the insurance agent type. most likely wont make much back.

its okay. within the units available. considering our prev application number was horrendous for jurong west balanced flat.. this is ok.. we got 3XX and there's 520 units available..

Not true leh. My aunt invested 120k 6years ago and got back 170k this year leh. She use this money pay for her house. Jitao half the house paid loh. Think about really depend on what are the fund you can invested in ba. You want to cpf investment must do medium to long term. hard to see profit lesser than 3 years coz of the sales of charge and stuff.. But put in more than 5 years the profit margin will be greater.

i think the blocks facing the bus stop and keat hong shopping ctr have the best views.. or facing the school and neighbourhood park..

I think the 4 rooms there have quite a good facing. Unblocked views, should have stronger wind too.

using buying a 500k house but only 350k HLE approval as example, means i need to come up with 150k during my 2nd appointment?

Yes. Cpf of 50k (10%), the rest of 100k must pay in cash.

Majority of the funds bought few years ago is making good money now. If your fund still losing money, no point waiting. Stop it or reinvest it.
