Need some 1 advice here..

I have a balloted number of 12xx for Jul BTO and on hand i have a 26x/224 in Sengkang Sep SOBF. Was looking forward to the SK Sep SOBF but looking at the take up rate of Jul BTO, i might be called up for selection. i have also gave up 1 chance for May BTO.

Question is, if i gave up my selection for Jul Punggol BTO, will my balloted number for SK Sep SOBF be gave up as well?

Need you guys great advice.

I believe the first timer priority is given during the time of application. So I don't think it will affect your queue no on hand even if you give up twice. Nevertheless it's best to check with HDB directly

thank goodness i made my choice and chose a high level, unblocked view at depot road, super nice, quiet environment and very accessible with a car. I saw the nov bto price for queentown. Its really crazy. The funny thing is even though it says queentown its all the way to dover mrt

Depot height location is better than ghim moh obviously but I still prefer telok blangah ridge view.

You're talking about Opal 4rm

Stacks at other blocks have better view / facing.
Either:
- see courtyard (garden)
- facing north more opened view

You look at 637/639, facing East, but face near to other block (other BTO), hence not so popular also.


If look at just block 256D, I guess the 2 corner stacks get preference. You won't want people to walk pass your door and peep (if your gate locked but door opened). Also the corner stacks has better service yard facing (expose to wind and sun)

Actually popularity of 651 is slightly better only, one advantage over 657 is garden view.

If you count proximity to town ma.. but HDB also takes into account proximity to mrt stations and amenities into pricing. Depot heights is not in a walking distance to any mrt but ghim moh is.. plus lots of amenities there (holland village, clementi mall, the star vista) furthermore near many good schools and institutions.. hence no surprise it's more expensive..
