from PM Lee's update: it seems construction and showflat projects cant be considered an essential service. so they will be closed from next week.

no wonder the hearsay that they are trying to launch kopar asap.

makes sense now

Non-essential? :s12:

Really curious how they are going to sell the 2.8k psf unit now

It seems Kopar launch would be delayed already for at least one month, could be good for both developers and buyers.
"very likely commence booking tomorrow or Sunday. Those that have submitted LOA and cheque, please kindly inform and standby your buyer."

Yep its bound to happen, either they push back the whole thing or launch asap before lockdown

i'm just the average joe on the street and my opinion is definitely not representative of the other buyers. but if i'm cornered im more likely to back off from the deal.

because it seems they are insecure of the whole project doing well.

unless of course.. stack 13 pricing at 2100??? hahaha - daydreaming- :s13::s12::s12:

There could be a good chance of good deals if launch is carried out tomorrow but expected psf perhaps 23-24xxpsf instead of 25xxpsf. My guess is developer would also wish to lock in a good sales volume to get a good head start, else it definitely defeat the purpose to launch it in such a haste.

If rushing this weekend i dont think will get good sales before lockdown. We shall see. Hope they just postpone their launch

My sentiments alike.

The developer would do better by deferring the launch, this would allow them to shore up interest in the project and hope that the covid-19 situation improves which would then lead to greater buying interest.

On the buyer side, they would be able to better consider their purchase, and make a firm decision, without the need to rush in.

*disclaimer: NOT agent talk ah*

Just 1 thing to consider from Dev's viewpoint. If postpone, postpone until when?(no end in sight to Covid, ABSD for dev is still unchanged as of now)

True that some buyers wont like it and will just back off. I think they'll adjust prices abit to entice these people.(if stack 13 2200 im sure it'll still move haha) Then at least they clear some of their inventory, can sit back and relax abit while seeing how the situation progresses

well maybe they can at least postpone for like 2-3 weeks and formulate a business-oriented plan that would buoy interest and yet respect all the covid-19 social distancing measures.

This I also agree.

Gut sense is it would launch tomorrow with some bargains in order to ensure good take up rate.

Anyways latest update, balloting will be done at 9pm tonight(not sure how true cause when I left at 750ish there were still quite a few agents behind queuing up to submit their cheques)

Buyers will then be given a timeslot to book a unit based on their top 6 choices, if nth changes booking will be done online, then paperwork at the respective agencies office
