I was there on Monday night too, but ended up only buying some stuff from the pasar malam, then headed to Cedar Point for dinner.

I was there 24th night. Wanted to have zichar dinner at the coffeeshop where Jalan Harimau meets Jalan Pelanduk, but was quite late already so walked through the pasar malam and dined at Cedar Point instead.

Breakfast, I normally head down Jalan Serigala to have porridge (chaipng-style), or along Jalan Harimau where there's a wontan noodles shop that opens 24/7. Like it that the location of this hotel provides very convenient alternatives to having to dine in.

I once told a friend, KSL reminds me of the likes of Queensway Shopping Center and City Plaza, while City Square almost like a mall in Orchard.

Different concept, worth taking a look if you've never been to KSL. Bus ride is about 15 mins(?) or sometimes even just 10 ... I don't normally check coz too busy looking at the sights.

One friend loves KSL, said City Square has "nothing". Another friend got bored with KSL within 10 mins.

City Square looks more like marina square or suntec ba ...
KSL looks like slightly higher end of queensway ?

I prefer city square. There is neway ktv.
KSL ktv is so expensive ...
Cathay movie theatre is bigger than MBO at KSL ....
If go KSL will stay century hotel coz is 1min walk.
Price abt 55 for 2 or 65 for 3 with breakfast.
If go city square will stay amansari city hotel @ 50sgd per night with bf, or citrus 37-55sgd per night standard room , sometimes with bf
Have stayed before deluxe room with club services @ 60 sgd per night.
Club service just means can take drinks unlimited from club lounge area lol .

Almost same, Can bargain
Yong Ming also like under them - Focus Optical

Try the optical shop at JB Sentral (as compared to City Square), only one there. I don't know what's the difference but I think it is cheaper there because the rental at City Square is expensive. I spoke to the boss and he told me he can't afford the rental at CS. and also quoted that his price is some RM10 cheaper than inside CS. Then I found out that my colleague also made his there. I did a few comparison for contact lenses then and found it cheaper. that was few years back and I have since been patronising them without shopping at CS shops. Don't know if it is still the same.

I've pretty good experience in the Deluxe rooms (higher floors) so far.
