Cabs in KSL seem to be taking advantage of the Monday pasar malam and the asking price has gone up from RM10-RM12 to RM15-RM20, just to get back to JB Sentral area.

Hmm... for that price, I should have gone to the other entrance next to the hotel and take the bigger and more comfortable blue exec cabs. Good lesson learned and to be remembered.

The black fried carrot cake stall at the KSL pasar malam is still going strong, and it's really awesome last evening. :D

Between the 2 hawker centers in the vicinity, the fried oyster omelette in Cedar Point is definitely better. Ordered the BBQ chicken wings for supper, as usual. :)

how to find the hawker centres nearby KSL? i am slightly lost whenever there

Cedar Point is out the Ground floor exit of KSL Mall where Coffee Bean is, turn right and walk up the road until you see a police post on your right and Hotel Grand Paragon on your left. It's just behind the hotel down that road. You can actually see the sign from that junction.

The other one is out the Lower Ground exit where KFC is, turn left and walk all the way along the shophouses until you hit a T junction. You'll be able to see it across the road on your left.

actually what is nice in Cedar Point? I tried the char kway teow, curry noodles, chendol, claypot rice, all very average. Only the satay and curry fish head nice. Worst is the hokkien mee, the worst i have eaten.

It's the Johor Kaki blog that led me to Cedar Point. I like the satay, fried oyster omelette and BBQ chicken wings, and also to try the Malay food there. The claypot curry fish head is not bad too.

With hawker centers, sometimes it's the environment that make me want to go there, to sit outdoor among all the different food variety rather than a shop or restaurant.

Any clues what are the opening hours like?

Went with 2 different friends on 2 different occasions, both times came out without any issue.

As usual, stay alert to your surroundings.
