Hi,

I kpo and asked about the durian price in KSL, the stall owner told me is RM98 per kg. Wow! Athough it is cheaper than Sin but I still find the price high.

We locals go mount austin to eat lah. KSL durian is to con Chinese tourist one.

Only shop will close on CNY, or hari raya.

Jam wise could be quite bad... Think school holiday so a lot of people will travel.

Shops will be opened.

Nobody can tell you about the situation at customs. There are few indicators for you:

1). 31st Aug is MY's public holiday
2). 31st Aug is Teachers' Day. All schools in SG will be closed
3). 31st Aug next day is the start of long weekend holidays
4). 31st Aug exchange rate confirm >3.00

I will definitely stay away from any land customs. Unless I am prepared to pee inside a plastic bag hidden inside my sarong....haha
A lot of people at JB customs will be off lor...so you should then know what the queue is like...

No significant different if the change amount is small.

Eve of public holiday or during public holiday the rate tends to be lower.

This is due to demand is high and bank rate is not available. So the money changer choose to use safe rate for them.

Wish I could... Gf teacher so school holiday or weekend.... And after our last weekend trip to tebrau... I now scared of going weekend. Rofl.... Or many post NDP weekend so a lot of gahmen people have off if they help in NDP.

But so far ok lah... When I book holiday villa was 88, KSL 82. But HV got breakfast so.... Lazy to walk out so book that. Hopefully don't rain or else I will regret not booking KSL.

I change the rate 3.14. Is actually pretty good.

Car park for public & hotel guests is the same; but hotel guests no need to pay - ask the counter staffs.
I'm sure many SG have stayed over night at KSL & parked their cars there too.

I have not been visiting too. KSL City is turning out to be just a replacement for Holiday Plaza and it will likely follow in its fate. The mall is not offering any unique draw and has become a pasar malam in a mall. Visitors will simply visit a newer place once that becomes available. Whether KSL will continue to draw visitors will depend on the maintenance and attractiveness of its attached facilities like the water theme park and the hotel itself.

The next upcoming big mall nearest to KSL should be Mid Valley.
