Bro, now when I am lazy, I will take a bus into KSL, then Uber to Mount Austin and Zon.
Uber is wayy better than taxi in JB, don't need to haggle price with the driver, don't need to pay in ringgit, and its cheaper too!

(If you have not use Uber before, can use my promo code!! It's uberrockyWM for 2 free rides)

haha thank you, first time hearing it ...

uber is those non taxis?

trust-able boh, later those personal cars using uber bring u somewhere ulu kana rob

If not you can try private company in Malaysia that offers Charter & Tour services in Johor. They can bring you around Jb to anywhere you would like to go. At least those are surely more trust worthy.

You can Call/Whatsapp 8116 6008 for more info

Haha. I spoke to the driver, he say he usually drives for tour company. Then when he is not doing tour, he drives for uber.

So far so good leh. I used it 3 times: 2 times Chinese, 1 time malay. All super friendly.

Can you tell me more about Uber? What is Uber?

How to book and how to identify the Uber? Pick up at where?

Any hair salon to recommend in Holiday plaza or KSL?

Thanks.

Went to KSL pasar malam just now. Grabbed a fried carrot cake from the pasar malam, then went to Cedar Point after that, for satay and rojak. :D

After that, took a stroll to somewhere near the Pontian wanton noodles on the other side of KSL, where I've seen another hawker center from up in the hotel room. Pontian's on the right, this hawker place is on the left side of that T-juntion from KSL. Saw the name Marmolada Food Court, it's a hawker center, walked around just to see what they're selling. Usual food, bbq chicken wings, rojak, satay, a Sarawak food stall, fried noodles, etc. =:p

CW1got go KSL?
Ah, group of you is safety in numbers, so to speak. =:p

Not the one next to bah ku teh, but the one further down from Century, that is, when I walk from KSL past Century's entrance, then further up to the street corner, like on the way to Holiday Plaza. I used to have dinner there, until that crab brought my bill to nearly RM100. Now I walk a little further to Cedar Point instead. :s13:

No car either; 107, CW1, S1, IM17, and the occasional cab are my mode of transport. :D

CW1got go KSL?

If you check the CW website, you'll see that CW1 is classified under Singapore Bus, while their bus from JB Sentral that goes to KSL is under Shopping Bus, and that's No. S1.

So, no, you'll have to switch from CW1 to S1 in order to get to KSL.

KSL's "exit near Kentucky Fried Chicken" at LG (Lower Ground) level, turn left and follow the road all the way until you come to the T-Junction, then turn right. You can see the Pontian WTN across the road.

These days I mostly go to another shop further down signboard "Yih Foh".

Bought a botle of 300gm arrow head at Kapitan for RM18, 150g (I think) at RM15
My colleague told me there is a bigger bottle type at around $7+ but could it find it today. Else where I don't know due to lack of time to rush back to SG before the peak hour.

Went Tebrau Tesco and Jusco. For those interested in Tong Garden nuts, CNY Canister/bottle type sold at NTUC, pistachio & Cashew ($11.2?), mixed Macademia with Cashew (UP$11.9, OP $11.45, 380g) all selling at RM19.88 at Aeon.
Kit Kat with CNY double container ($12.4, NTUC), Tesco = RM22.8, Aeon = 19.88

Go Mr DIY to look at some of the CNY decoration stuff, much cheaper compared to SG. e.g ~ diameter 200mm felt (like paper) cutting of Fu character RM1.5, even bigger, huge one at around RM5.... some small dangling stuff, pack of 5 or 6, ~RM2.5 - 3.3
